Nintendo is trying really hard to become irrelevant.
Games get their greatest exposure via Youtube. It's free advertising for them with a huge audience. If I cant see a game review or gameplay through a Youtuber I trust, then I am very unlikely to purchase.
@ScottOakley They copyright the proper name of "Fallout" not the word itself. In court they would need to prove that there is a reasonable chance consumers would mistaken Fortress Fallout for a "Fallout" IP. They don't own the word and cant stop others from using it. The problem is that it takes money to have lawyers to take your case to court. These small devs lose even if they win.
Mojang could've fought them, because "Scrolls" had nothing to do with the "The Elder Scrolls" and there was no chance of mistake.
@Gelugon_baat @straightcur No, the conflict of interest exists! But I am not calling GS guilty at all. There doesn't need to be anything nefarious going on for there to be a conflict of interest.
