@heqteur: I'm simply stating what was said in the article. Nintendo says one thing, Supply chain is saying another. One of them has to be lying. I'm not a hater, can only go by what i read. Maybe it's a poorly written article.... Either way, why are you so defensive of Nintendo? Where is the evidence that they have ramped up production? Are you making stuff up or is there proof or even an article?

@fig56: It's about increasing their stock value more than anything. More sales does that, but so does manipulating supply and demand.

So Nintendo says they are doing everything they can.

Executive in supply chain says he is ready to increase production but hasnt been asked to by Nintendo.

So, Nintendo is flat out lying.

This "mistake" was likely intentional. While they didnt plan on the delays, they likely knew it was a huge gamble. But, they had just launched a new console and needed headlines. They arent the only ones guilty of this. I just wish the gaming "journalists" would actually call them out on these announcements instead of being fanboys and defacto marketing extensions of the studios.

Crossplay can only hurt Sony and only help Xbox. Crossplay benefits the smaller platform by taking advantage of the user base of the larger. While i would like crossplay, i understand why they wont allow it. It was the same for Xbox when they were in the lead.

I really dont see what everyone else does about this game. It's so bad. I understand that it has become a meme, but beyond that, i dont get it.
