Just give the work to the other people willing to do it. If all of these voice actors disappeared from the industry, noone would notice. They are not as valuable as they think they are. No need to ever give in to this Union. Hold out forever, eventually they will come back or move on to different careers.
I will likely see this movie on Netflix or somewhere eventually, but felt no urgency to see it in theater as word of mouth said it wasnt as good as the mediocre first movie. The first movie was ok, nothing great, but not as terrible as some people like to say (movies are only 10's or 0's to some people). But these film makers need to look at more than just box office numbers to get the real picture of what people really thought of their movies. A reboot might get good number simply due to nostalgia and hope. However, if the fans are disappointed, it will show in the sales of the sequel. It's so common these days that i'm shocked that the movie studios seem oblivious to it.
@Thanatos2k: exaggeration as usual. Many people disagree with your opinion. And even those that are critical of them are more objective. They are not 10's but they are not 0's either. Typical internet bandwagon hate is always on the extremes.
@LpcWarrior: I never said anything discouraging about Griffey Jr. I know he was a great. Key word being "WAS". He is no longer relevant. Do you think kids will know or care who he is? This is supposed to be a game based on this year's MLB.
So they are pulling an "Evolve" and killing their sales prior to release. Announcing a bunch of "add-ons" prior to release is like announcing a bunch of DLC before a game launches. It says they are shipping you an incomplete product and the initial price is misleading.
