Should I just wait for bioshock 2 or do you think the first one is worth buying?

You absolutely have to get the first one. Bioshock is one of, if not the best game in it's genre. In the realm of FPS it is unique. You have to buy this game.

I haven't played Fallout 3, but I have played both Oblivion(still playing) and Bioshock(finished). I am more of a swords and spells vs a futuristic/apocaliptic RPGer so Fallout 3 didn't really grab me. I enjoyed Bioshock immensely, so if I had to choose, I would have to go with Bioshock. It has an incredibly unique storyline that just sucks you in, and beautiful graphics. It revolutionized the FPS genre. Plus there is Bioshock 2 coming out soon.;)

I think the Pro is still being sold in some gaming stores. I have had one for a year with no issues. 60GB HD.

I play on a 50" plasma, with 5.1 surround sound. That is the only way to roll these days. Games like Dead Space have incredible sound tracks that can only be fully experienced in at least a 5.1 surround setting. Added to that the fantastic visuals viewed on a large screen make for a fantastic gaming experience. Other games that come to mind are Oblivion, Bioshock and even Conan. You gotta go big!!!:)

I'm on the fence with this one. The first was great at first, but became repetitive after a while. I'll see what initial first impressions are before making a decision.

I would have to give it at least a 9/10 because of the sheer variety and number of games for the 360 vs other platforms. I know you have to pay for gold but that is the price one has to pay for the best console out there. IMHO

Violence has been a part of history since man began to walk the earth, and even before that. One of the big reasons why there are so many problems in the world is modern man's(woman's) refusal to accept this as part of our genetic makeup. We cannot escape it, and it will never go away. So I say, just accept it. If violence was removed from video games it would effectively cut the market in half, something game developers will never let happen. I know people associate the violence in video games with terrible attrocities commited by youth in America and the rest of the world. We are exposed to violence in society every day. It is the fact that these perpetrators cannot differentiate between fiction/simmulated violence and the real thing. This is what gives all these protest groups the ammunition they need for legislative change. Dont punish everyone for the crimes of a few deranged people.

I would also go with MW2. Halo just doesn't do it for me.

I'm thinking Bioshock 2...if it's anything like the first one...look out!;)

Edit: But seeing that it's only coming out Feb 2010, gonna have to wait a little while. I am seriously considering Batman Arkham asylum in the mean time.
