Borderlands has great co op play. Dragon Age: Origins is a massive rpg with many, many hours of gameplay a la Oblivion. Both have their god points, and very few weak points. Personally...I would go with Dragon Age, as I am a big Oblivion fan.

Oblivion, Dead Space, Bioshock in no particular order. All are classics, and groundbreaking in their genres.

I just picked this up for $9.99 at BB. What a steal!! I cant believe how much fun this game is.These types of games are a greatbreak from more intense, goal oriented games like Oblivion etc. Mindless fun...gotta love it!:D

For the shear diversity and scope, I would have to say Oblivion hands down. FPS wise, I would go with Dead Space and Bioshock;)

The only two games I have shelved are Forza 2(didn't like the controls...I dont have the wheel) and Assassin's Creed, which I found to be repetitive.

When you have to start replacing major components, you are just better off replacing the whole unit. Believe me, the hassle is not worth the marginal savings you will incur shopping for parts and not to mention the time wasted in this endevour. Get yourself a new unit and enjoy it...Maybe go for an upgrade?

Glad I was able to help. Also, those xbox component cables will do 1080p just as well as HDMI cables.Dont ever let some sales rep tell you otherwise!:) That is one of the biggest scams of HDMI going these days. People paying ridiculous prices for Monster or Rocketfish cables when they could spend a fraction for the same quality.
