i didnt like Fallout 3 either. it's geared towards a specific group of fans.
ive tried to like RPG and i just cant. i hate their combat sequence. where you take turns ala Final Fantasy or F3 where you just pick a section of their body.
1. GTA4. i dont play online or multi, but that single campaign is crazy (im not complaining coz it was crazy good too. actually wish it was longer). that was about 40 hrs if i remember corectly.
2. UNCHARTED. i never replay games, but i did this one coz thats how much i loved it and the trophies added a little incentive. i still have to try to do "crushing."
3. NBA2K9. im a big nba fan. i play this all the time. id probably say this game logs the most hours from me.

No. What he's essentially saying that the high ratings got him INTERESTED. He had probably never heard of it, or disregarded it before, but when he heard the praise it got, he thought that it may be worth giving a try.
that's exactly it. i did know the main premise, so i wasnt completely in the blind. but it's the way the concept was executed. it's just so silent and timid. the first time you fight a colossi, you're in completely awe and amazement. but then the second comes and it's the same thing (you look for the spot and stab)... then you're just okay. hmm. then 3rd comes...hmmm...same thing again. i started to find it getting dull then, but i thought maybe it'd get better. i really dont like it anymore, but i wanna finish it just to see how it ends and i always want to finish things i start, regardless of how i like it. but then again, this is so bad, i might just watch the youtube vids. they could've added more spice to this. it's just too damn mellow and bland. and another major thing, they should've just made it that any colossi fight could be triggered once you reach that area. that would avoid the long searches. they didnt have to specifically order which colossi to fight.
