INFAMOUS reminds me so much of GTA4. But based on the INFAMOUS demo, the story isn't GTA4 caliber. I mean, it might be a little interesting (wtf happened to the city and cole?), but the delivery and presentation doesn't seem all captivating. There's no animated acting or heavy dialogue like GTA4. Am I right here? This is what I got from the demo. The cutscenes aren't even animation, just visuals/images.

I enjoy story-driven games like MGS4, Uncharted, Assassins Creed, and GTA4. So how is INFAMOUS compared to these games in this sense? Thanks.

Or is it just the component cable that exists for the PS2 for HDTVs?

you guys say a component cable would be better. so this brings up a question...which of these two options would produce better picture/quality?

(i) connect my ps2 to my 42" 1080p hdtv using component cable

OR

(ii) connect my ps2 to my 27" flat screen crt tv using the composite cable (not component)

i dont have a ps3 with backwards compatibility and im starting to play some ps2 games i missed out on. so i dusted off my ps2 and brought it back to life. im testing it out right now. and it looks pretty bad. im sure it's because i have it connected to my hdtv. so my question is how are ps2 games on the ps3 using an hdtv? i wanna know if it's worth it to borrow a friend's ps3 with backwards compatibility. thanks.

i just got dreamfall and when i go to control settings and press test my gamepad... nothing happens. and it even disables me to exit the menu.

I just got my PS3 controller working with my PC, but I dont like it. I once borrowed a friend's 360 controller and it seems as though it's way better. It recognizes the controller right away and the default button config seems to be right on. It was good with Dead Space and Fallout 3.

I tried my PS3 controller with POP4 and it seems okay. But I tried it with Indigo Prophecy and it freakin makes the game lag like crazy, but when I use the mouse and keyboard, it's so smooth. So Im thinking for some reason the PS3 controller affects the smoothness of the game. (I didnt have Indigo yet when I borrowed the 360 controller, so i cant compare). I also tried it with Fallout 3 and it doesnt seem to work at all. For Dead Space it works, but not all buttons and the ones that do are really messed up as buttons arent appropriate for the certain actions.

So is this everyones experience too with both controllers for the PC? Im thinking of purchasing my own 360 controller because the PS3's doesnt seems all that great with the PC.

im aware that some of them are only 10 hrs gameplay.

so i could probably complete them in a week.
