@danteswart yeah.. sadly it appears that sexualisation and being sexist works only one way - when the females are objectified ! otherwise it is all fun and games..

@Sigil-otaku absolutely right !!!

i think part of the problem is that people generally (non-gamers specifically) are still struggling to accept gaming as mainstream entertainment and still think of it as something 'children' indulge in.. we see more nudity, profanity, stereotyping, violence, sexual objectification in movies, music videos and real life in general !

all this hoopla is an effort by political lobbies, lobbyists, general losers to garner a few points and get themselves seen and heard.. pathetic effort really. i dont mind the complaints.. but i get really annoyed when devs and publishers react to them just to be 'politically correct'..

wish makers of Hitman, Lara Croft etc hadnt succumbed to the pressure.

can a specific LGBT convention be considered discriminatory against straight people ? as far as i know i dont think the other conventions are targetted specifically at LGBT people.. and i havent come across any discrimination against LGBT people whenever i have attended GamesCom.. so why the other way round ?

can we not start a motion of sorts asking the devs NOT to change the game or any aspect of that mission (if it is in the game) for any whiny political rights group ?i am sure there will be many gamers who would like to keep creative freedom intact...as it is there is too much censorship in the world as it is.. more so in games..why dont these whiny idiots complain against the explicit lyrics in songs and scenes in many music videos ?

@iagbas Glad to know I am not the only one ;) But I guess that's what 'sexism' is.. Probably a crime to be a guy and fancy women ;)

@HapiJoel I'd advise you to do the same and see what the reality is... There is a difference in being sexist for real and having some creative freedom. Once you sort out the portrayal of women in hip-hop songs, harassment at work etc, justice for rape victims, equal opportunities in the true spirit of the phrase etc etc etc you have my permission to lecture me about this issue...
