I have both a PS3 and a 360 I buy my multiplats on 360 soley based on ppl having mics on 360 (I'm not a biased console type of person) as opposed to PS3... So I'm leaning towards getting SF4 for the 360 but here's my issue I hate the 360's D-pad and I love the PS3 controllers D-pad. I'm mainly curious how any of yall feel who have played Street Fighter HD on your 360 using the D pad does it respond good do you have to get use to it???

Most ppl dont even play single player on FPS that I know it's pointless and all FPS single players are short.... Most FPS single players suck anyways Halo has a stupid story and everyone just plays online.

People keep saying that if Microsoft does this, Sony will get profits. But there are 9 companies that own blu-ray, so Microsoft can just ask Samsung or Pioneer to make the Blu-Ray drives and then PlayStation 4 wont' have a disk advantage on Xbox 3 and Sony won't have the contract with MS to make the drives. I think that in a struggling economy, the Xbox 360 and PS3 will be in for a long stay (as in until 2012-2014 possibly) to sell as many cheap units (that don't cost as much to make) as they can until Blu-Ray becomes standard. Fanboyism is lame. But on these boards, it seems like anti-Wii fanboyism is actually condoned, which I think is pretty sad. Is it so hard to just be happy with whatever consoles you have, without feeling the need to denigrate people who play Wii as though they are all imbeciles for enjoying something different? The capacity of the Wii to continue to outsell a cheaper "hardcore super duper cool powerhouse" console like the 360 seems to be evidence enough that many people enjoy their Wiis, and I don't see any reason why that makes them "nongamers.

I realize that most of the posters here ride one fanboy bandwagon or another, but why is conforming to the Wii hatewagon "cool" but other types of fanboyism are mocked(and rightly so imo)?

1. Sony's arrogance and poor attitude towards the consumer: I'm sure someone can find the thread of Sony spokesperson's sound bites leading up to the PS3 launch, they irritated me so much. There are too many to think of, if I have the time later I'll search for the thread that summed them all up nicely.

2. Blu Ray. Sony releases one of the most expensive gaming consoles ever, and uses it as a means to push their blu-ray agenda. I just want to play games thanks. Should have made one with an optional blu ray player (not reader obviously) and passed the savings onto the consumer.

3. SKU's. Damage control!!! No one's buying the PS3 so we should make 15 different SKU's. That won't confuse anyone!

4. Exclusives. M$ so far is > than the PS3, and certainly was around launch time.

5.But Teh Cell!!!! Nearly all mutli plat games look or play a little better on the 360. I've seen nothing on the PS3 that looks significantly better than anything on the 360.

6. Price. I can get a cheaper 360 with arguably a better lineup of games, Live out of the box, better price tag, the OPTION of an HDDVD drive (pass thanks, but thank you for the option).

Sure the RROD thing really sucks, but the three year warranty on it is nice. I unfortunately just recently got an E74 error, not covered under the 3 yr warranty, so one month after my warranty expired I had to pay 110 bucks to get my 360 fixed. Boo-urns.....but still cheaper than a PS3.

I have a 360 that has messed up 3 times my PS3 none.... in all honesty system wars is stupid and corny who cares what console you hate why would you care to hate a company because they chose to do what they wanted....

By the way if Ps3 and 360 released on the same day Ps3 would have sold more because of it's current year to date sales.... Ps3 so far has sold more than 360 just the 360 has been out longer.

I don't hate th PS3 I just don't like the fact that it really didn't focus on games and was more concern on Blu-ray.

I actually did have a cube last gen Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2, loved them I played mario sunshine and Wind Waker I loved using the flute and the boat was awesome in an open world enviorment... I just remembered I had it and sold it pretty much right after I beat Metroid Prime 2 but I only had it for a year bc I got it kind of late. Now that I think about it I loved the Gamecube the games were fun the platformers were great....

The only game I didnt play on the Wii that I wish I would've played is Mario Galaxy.... I had to get rid of my wii though I really had to so many ppl were trying to buy it off me and I kept saying NO I kind of liked the idea of having all 3 consoles.... I just was done with it after MP3.

I'm actually probably going to re-buy the Wii in 4 years when the next gen comes out if the rumors are true about a final Zelda... I actually really like some Nintendo games.... I just hated the wii with a passion I hate what it might do to gaming and hope it doesnt kill quality gaming.... I dont support the game companies that make crud like Wii fit...
