She's actually a very good politician. You all just hate her because she doesn't like violent video games, but in the larger picture, that issue isn't worth squat. She is a strong-minded person who has actually come to her political views of her own accord, and not from what her parents believed. In fact, she was raised conservative, and used to be a Republican. Hillary Clinton is hardly the "most liberal" Democrat, which seems to be a charge the GOP makes of every presidential candidate the Democrats raise.

I personally don't see any reason why people should hate her. I think that all of the spite comes from Conservatives being afraid of Hillary Clinton, and how powerful she could be.

When I'm home, and they ask me to go shopping with them, of course I'll go shopping with them.

North Korea? I'm not sure about that. China maybe, but North Korea is too small, and pretty far behind us in technology and weapons development. North Korea's leader is crazy enough that he might start a war, but the U.S. has a pretty big arsenal, and if it were to institute a draft, it could have an enormous army.

[QUOTE="swamprat_basic"][QUOTE="fedameda"][QUOTE="swamprat_basic"][QUOTE="fedameda"][QUOTE="swamprat_basic"]You attack the media for showing the masses what they want to see? Sorry, but they're good business people.fedameda

Their object is to provide useful information. I could care less if she had 5 minutes in an hour, but on EVERY channel she is on, and I actually want to know what happened in the world besides the death of a pornstar and how "tough" her life was. They are treating her like she was a leader of a major world power. There is NO breaking news about this person yet they waste air time on her, it is appalling that people even care about her

You want to know exactly why they are showing Anna Nicole Smith on every single channel? Because right now millions of people are glued to their television sets, soaking up millions of dollars worth of advertising.

If you worked at a television news station you would be fired for changing the subject from something that millions upon millions of people are watching.

So? what happened to the "higher calling" journalists cockily say they have? I remember when the media had actual integrity. Nows its just a zoo

So what you ask? Money says so what. Even Edward R. Murrow had to interview Liberace in order to pay the bills.

News stations hardly run on slim margins. Half of them have other channels to rely on, at least put that crap on THOSE channels instead of news networks. And did Murrow play that interview in a nonstop loop for over 10 hours?

No, but he spent a lot more time interviewing popular celebrities than he did going after Joe McCarthy.

[QUOTE="Wemhim256"]1. I'm a vegetarian.
2. I'm so healthy, I don't even drink soda(And no, I'm not a goody too-shoos, it's a personal choice, I used to drink soda). Odissius

You also have little to no muscle mass, since you're a veggie-boy....I don't drink soda either, well cause it's bad for you and I would much rather have water...I used to drink it alot when I was little though.

Vegetarians will NEVER have the same amount of physical strength as a person who eats meat as well as vegetables.

*EDIT* If this came off as rude, it was supposed to...I hate vegetarians/vegans.

Actually, one of the biggest/strongest guys on my rugby team is a vegetarian. Not for health or personal reasons though, his parents just raised him not eating meat.

Rarely, maybe 5 times a year at most. The only time I'll eat there is if I'm at reststop, and that's all there is to eat.
