How... many of you actually watched the Flintstones outside of syndication? Like back in the era. By what means does anyone here have to properly hold that show on such a high chair? Is not like Seth cannot make it much worse than what it was. CreasianDevaili

Even in syndication, the original Flintstones is funnier than anything Seth MacFarlane has ever done. It is a given that this new show is going to be worse than the original.

I don't know about that. I think the original series is funnier than anything Seth MacFarlane has ever done.

Ultimately, I don't think I would be against a remake of "The Flintstones," but not from Seth MacFarlane.

Please give the show to Mike Judge or Judd Apatow or one of the guys with shows on Adult Swim... a Writer / Producer with actual comedic talent... please?

Even Seth Green would be better than Seth MacFarlane. "Robot Chicken" is funnier than anything Seth MacFarlane has ever done.

I had a dream where there was a parallel world to our own that could be accessed through these abandoned subway tunnels, and after staying awhile in the other world, I started to have superpowers like running faster & jumping further than normal. And there were these goverment agents on the other side who all ready seemed aware of the powers we could have over there, and they started chasing me and throwing these javelins at me that had tranquilizer darts on them. And when one of the darts hit me, I woke up.

There is no movie like that for me. Making me cry the first time is one thing, but to cry every time I watch it....that's just not happening. I never cried during Shawshank Redemption and really can't figure out why somebody would cry during that movie, let alone cry every time they watch it. Don't get me wrong, I love that movie, but there isn't anything sad in it that would make me cry.

I have never cried during The Shawshank Redemption, but I can understand how it would make people cry. People don't just cry at sad parts of movies.

Roger Ebert wrote an article about how he "never [cries] during sad moments in the movies, only during moments about goodness." (http://blogs.suntimes.com/ebert/2009/01/i_feel_good_i_knew_that_i_woul.html)

Schindler's List will always make me cry, and it isn't at the sad moments of the film, but when Schindler saves the people at the end.

My accent is General American English, which is considered to sound region neutral.

I forgot about a couple of old ones...

  • It's A Wonderful Life
    • ...during the final scene when the town comes out to help George.
  • To Kill A Mockingbird
    • ...when Atticus is leaving the courtroom, and the Reverend tells Scout to stand up out of respect for her father.

I didn't like it that much. I honestly found everything from the snow battle onward to be really boring.

The most interesting character in the film was the guy whose mind they were hacking into.

Toy Story 3. God I tear up just thinking about it

kussese

Oh, yeah. That one gets me too. When the Toys are sliding down toward the incinerator, and they reach out and take hold of each others' hands.
