Graphics Card: Expensive. Minimal performance boost over the 8800GT, but costs way more.

Dream_Visions_2

Wrong, the 8800GT IS WAY better than a 8800gts 640mb

A8800gts 512mb (the new GTS) is faster than a 8800GTX

LOL no it is not "way" better but slightly better.

Lern benchmarks before u use LOL, And in my oppinion a card for 220$ is WAY better than a card that cost more and perform less!

LOL!

Most games have a option to change DX10 to DX9 (i know crysis and Cod4 do.)

(Just point at start icon for the app/game and right-click, there u go!)

DX10 card are fully compatible with DX9

Yes, but hardware are more important, for ex. a 8600gt OC have faster clock speedthan 8800GT but 8800are faster anyway.

Amount shader and memory bandwidth are crucial to.

^^well, I wouldn't run a GTX with a 305w because it won't be able to run full load,PSU will cause shutdown in full 3D usage.

but, yes it'll work in windows and smaller app. In full load A small/undersized PSU will cause instability and shutdowns.

/don't mind my spelling/grammar I'm from Sweden.

Buy another CPU intstead, try E4300-E4500 instead, thatoldCPUwill bottle-neck a HD3850.

HD3850 is aprox. same listed as an 8800gts 312mb. in benchmark and 3Dmark06

There are few games actually using all mem, in resolutions under 1600*1200 size om memory donĀ“t have a big affect.

More inportant is the speed on mem, shure 3870 use DDR4 and 3850 useDDR3.

Mosty in lower res. the cards have a 4-10fps difference, the gap between them are small but solid. (with aa and af enabl.)

The HD3850 aremore value/bang for buck.
