Knights of Honor

Its like Total War in real time. My most favorite strategy game evar. Tons and tons of ye olde kingdoms to play as, with a massive map and no time limit.

Star Wars: TIE Fighter

The only flying game I ever actually liked, maybe because I got to play as the empire.

The whole cast of Dragon Age.

Except Morrigan.

I'm going to kill that intolerable harpy the first chance I get in Dragon Age 2.

Bioware. Psh. What a bunch of idiots. Since when are RPGs about making choices or creating unique characters to live through? Last time I checked, RPGs are all about grinding and studying statistics.

Far Cry 2.

I avoid the Ubisoft logo like the plague now. Lame gunplay. Fake sandbox. Mentally stupid story. Breathtakingly terrible ending. If there were one game I could un-purchase, it would be Far Cry 2.

By questioning gaming's merit as an art form, Roger Ebert is justifying it, therefore making it art.

Where's Marcel Duchamp when you need him?

First off, who the hell payed fifteen freaking dollars for five multiplayer maps?

Secondly, who the hell payed fifteen freaking dollars for five multiplayer maps, of which only three are even new?

I didn't like it. Bought the PC version with all its "extra content" and still felt thoroughly ripped off. 4-5 hour campaign and 8 player online?:( What's actually THERE is all well and good, but imo it's just not fifty dollars worth of game.

There are plenty of games I don't like, but even if I don't like them, I can see why OTHERS would like them. I don't like WoW or Warcraft 3, but I can see the value in them.

That said, it is beyond my comprehension how *anybody* could possibly enjoy Farcry 2. I played all the way through it to the very end, and I hated every second of it; from the worthless vehicles and lousy gunplay to the mind-bogglingly stupid story. The fact that people enjoy and defend FC2... frustrates me.

Technically the king would have to be FEAR, but I wouldn't count it as last gen because it came out like a week before the 360 launched. FEAR aside, I would say Half Life 2 with Doom 3 and Far Cry in a close 2nd.

From this thread I have learned that the essence of Kilzone 2 is

- Grey

- Blurry

- Full of fanboys

Cool story, bro.
