Interesting how everyone (including me, to be fair) thinks this has something to do with politics/wokeness. Unsurprising, though, since that's pretty much been the only reason for these types of incidents for a few years now.

Two things:

1) Of course TLOU2 got a bunch of awards. Everyone knew it was a setup.

2) What a weak year for video games overall.

So glad I didn't waste a second of my time watching this garbage and instead played Cyberpunk 2077 all evening.

@jakesnakeel: You have got to be joking. Released before it was done? They have pushed back the release date multiple times precisely to ensure it was done. What's being played and reviewed now is not their intended release product.

There's an absolutely massive patch coming right after it releases. So complaints about bugs should be ignored for now.

Of course they're not hearing complaints. The system just came out. People only have a few games, so they haven't hit the limit yet. Give it a few months.
