I liked it more than WOL. More polished, better story, better characters. Ties in some elements together into the plot, like the Talderin. 

Uh, it's also like...using the same sort of Lovecraftian element that is present in just about...all Blizzard properties. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that in the ultimate mythos of the game universe, they're all, warcraft, diablo, starcraft -- all lovecraftian.

What it really needs are better authoring tools so that one guy can make detailed FPS games instead of being stuck with side scrollers.

I've probably pumped more hours into War3/SC2/Civ5 combined than all other games put together.

these games make me feel like I'm in full control. I devise strategies and test them out against other players.

SP games, mass effect is a pretty good example, feel more like...I'm being dragged through it. It's as if every 5 minutes while watching Indiana Jones on screen, you were forced to like solve a 4th grade math problem in order to watch the next segment of the movie. gameplay simply doesn't matter as much. you don't really get to make your own decisions in the game.

I'm sure you think that like the dude who got fired for his unprofessional review of Kane and Lynch is a hero or something, when he was simply being unprofessional and whiney.

My biggest problem with them is like how whenever you see a game get a 10.0 rating, then you know it's actually going to be a **** game. Metal Gear Solid 4, I'm looking at you. They give existing franchises too much leeway while they underrate games that bring genuine innovation to the genre, like Kane and Lynch 2. 

Generally, I don't think game reviewers spend enough time really seeking out innovation in games. Like, there are gems like Arma or King Arthur Roleplaying game which just aren't mentioned in mainstream press, because the devs don't spend enough on public relations.

From the videos I've seen, it looks like a decent improvement.

Arma 2 when I played the demo had some flaws I felt in subtle stuff like how much the gun shakes when you fire it.

I'll give it a shot sometime. I'm really getting sick of the "hollywood"-izing of computer games. Like, they're not as engrossing as true pc games and not as emotional as real movies. 

Nope, not worth it at all. 

Last time I did research on it, you'd have to buy like a $100 PhysX card to see any improvement.

and because only part of the board would actually be used for PhysX, you'd waste a lot.

Just...enable PhysX in your games and disable AA. That's what I do. 

You can also buy old PhysX dedicated boards on ebay for like $15. You can at least run PhysX in old games like Mirror's Edge that way.

ps4's move will be hugely hugely improved.
