At 9.5Mbps you would lose some speed. The firmware shouldn't need to be the same as long as they are both enabled for WDS. It's not all that great trying to set up wireless bridges, could you not simply move the one you have to be closer to your equipment or simply buy a more powerful router?

Great rig, no-one wants to know about it, it's not relevant to the question you have and I'm willing to bet that's why no-one else has replied. You will barely be able to tell the difference between 720p and 1080p on a 30" screen from a safe everyday viewing distance, nevermind 1600p. Your PC can output 16:9 aspect ratios with consummate ease, just select a different resolution (might I suggest 1920x1080?); if you're lucky your PC will pick up the native resolution of the projector all by itself. So to sum up, your question could have been asked without bragging about your stuff and there will be no aspect ratio difference.

The quality isn't all that much worse, if at all; they are both analogue so will be more affected by the amplifier than anything else.

Yes the cable should be fine. You can get the audio down the cable with a 9600GT and you should have some sort of HDMI to DVI and audio converter included with the card which you will need to connect to the DVI port. There will also be a cable to connect your graphics card to the originating sound source i.e. your sound card.

You're really talking about only playing older games there and by older I mean 2005ish. To get a decent framerate with real detail in modern games you are talking about needing a top half ATi 4000 series card like a 4650 or 4850. They aren't really that expensive, unless you are comparing them to the one you posted.

If you disconnected the audio cables when you replaced the fuse and then put them back in back to front then the speaker would be out of phase with the others, depending on how the rest of the speakers are connected, and that would result in reduced bass. The fuse problem seems like it might be pointing to a larger issue though. Are you sure the fuse you put in is the same as the one that you took out? Also, what sub do you have the RSX-3 speakers hooked up to?If a lower rated fuse than is necessary to run the unit is plugged in it would indeed blow.

Did you disconnect the sub while you did it? Maybe you rewired it out of phase?

FoxConn make a lot of components and boards for larger manufacturers IIRC. In fact I think with a little research you might be surprised by just how long the list of products they manufacture is; chances are your current board probably has some FoxConn components on it. Basically they have a long history in computer manufacturing and make some decent components but you would be hard pushed to tell one board from another while gaming unless you compare a £30 POS to a top of the line i7 board.

Wired = ethernet cable, not really hard wired as I understand it. See if you can pick up a cheap OEM licence for Vista off eBay. Cheaper DVD drive (they can be had for as little as £12ish.) I reckon you can probably get a cheaper PSU, just make sure it's a true wattage one. Or of course you could wait a while 'til you have the cash.
