Thats referring to PS2, not both PS2 and PSX. PSX is 100% software, PS2 hasnt made the full software jump yet, tho id say it probably will before long.
Yeah the full version isn't out until spring 08, which is better for Devs to get used to it and use it better and for Sony to fix the small problems they may have had and polish it up. But not only that we get a Open beta in november I believe.G-Legend
not true, its a service, its already available to some and more will get it once it opens up, it wont be finished ever as its a service, not a product.
Epics already said they've not started work on a new Gears so xmas 2008? Doubt it, also work on GoW3 didnt start until late this year so it wont make it for 2008 either.

It does have Wifi and it does have BC, it works with all PSX titles and adding in PS2 titles at a later date isnt hard, half the emulation is already done in software if they make it 100% in software then they all get it.
