Firstly just like to point out i passed 1700 posts, but thats not the cool thing about this blog.

If this is already here on gamespot than don't bother reading on, yesterday i went onto www.Lik-sang.com (a gaming import company) which was referred to me by gaming_prince

The thing that caught my eye was a feature they have for the ***BRAND NEW*** Nintendo DS web browser!!! i thought this was really cool even though i don't even have a DS, i plan to get one Q2 next year.

Unfortunatley its a tad slow but its the first version so opera will update it to run a bit faster.  Also which is probably the worst thing about it is that you can't watch any videos because the web browser is not flash enabled.

I went to gamecave today again and i played CS: Source, (im getting dam good at this now) Battlefield 2, (playing this wasn't to much because there where only 3 of us) & i got to play about 5 minutes of Day of Defeat.

Firstly if anyone doesn't know what Day of Defeat is, its CS: Source set out in WW2.  Its not a bad game but don't expect it to be exactly the same as CS: Source obviously the weapons ae different, but when you open fire on a enemy the gun will recoil (i think thats the word for it) anyway the maps are large and we were sometimes getting annoyed that we couldn't find each other.  Anyways i was dominating (my blogs are getting full of bragging now, i have to cut it down to a minimum!) even though i was on my own. 

Ok my impressions - Day of Defeat is the sort of game that any FPS or WW2 shooter fan could enjoy.  I'm sure that it is much more fun online than playing of a LAN network.  Why? well because when you go to a LAN gaming place you probably will be playing with your friends and you can get distracted by other people shouting or whatever, so when playing online you always play with other people so theres heaps more practice, plus it would be better to own the game and play it at home. 
Also after using alot of WW2 weapons in games i never anticipated the power that bolt action rifle used by the axis (forgot the dam name) would have.
I mean i at my brother playing and i got him, with a headshot i might add, i rolled back a bit in the seat and was surprised, i thought holy sh** thats cool!!!

Ok that last paragraph may have sounded stupid and it may have confused you.

Ok, i like the game its not to bad and i would like to play it again.  Although Day of Defeat will come after Battlefield 2 & CS: Source (which i really need to practice on more if i want to enter a tournement, plus i need to get people to play with).

I just found out about it and saw some clips for it.  Holly Valance is going to play the lead role and just from seeing that short clip it doesn't look that great but i will look for more content later on.  It comes out September 7th in Austrlia

Ok today i went to Gamecave and didn't ay anything to play because i signed up a friend from school for the membership. Another friend of mine came and then agodec came too, so we had 4 people and it was even teams.

We started playing Source and i was wasting the oppsition (this blog is going to be full of bragging) so much fun i wish my PC could play games, because i really miss playing FPS's (mostly) on the PC.  These would be the first games i would get if my PC could run games:

• Battlefield 2
• Battlefield 2: Special Forces
• Counter Strike: Source

Ok those are mostly multiplayer games because i really love playing online games.

Ok so we had a break to play BF2 it wasn't to bad, it is terrible over a LAN because there where only 4 of us playing.  Me and agodec joined the US forces and the other guys had to join the MEC.  I swapped from team to team a bit just to check out the vechiles and artillery.  The MEC's tanks and choppers were not to bad much better than i thought actually and the jets were good too. 
Now i want this game more than CS: Source alot more in fact, because just dog fighting with my oppenents (who could barley fly for more than a minute lol) is so much fun even though it though it was 2 on 2.  I just can't wait to get it myself and start playing online, because if  got somone flying a jet with me who i can talk to without my oppenents hearing will be awesome.

I asked the woman working there if they have CS: Source tournements? she said that they have had one or two in the past and the first place prize money was $250!! (this was a 2 on 2 tournement) so thats 125 each! not bad as far I'm concerned.  So she said that she would give me a call if they start a new tournement.

Ok i can't really think of anything more to say in this blog that you may think is REALLY boring!!!  Thanks for reading this though.

As some of you guys now my PC is not fit for gaming with a NVIDIA GeForce 5500 FX how could it??? plus my AMD Athlon 2.1 GHZ processor is not to good either.

So my dad is looking at getting fixed up so it will run properly.  I looked on eBay earlier todat and found a NVIDIA 7300 GS card PCI-E with video out or something for 23 bucks!!! i thought what a bargain!  So i rung up PC power a computer store and where gamecave is, and asked them will it run on my mother board which is a Gigabyte something. 
They asked my to ring back later i did in about an hour and they put me on hold for about 2 mins no problems though they checked on google and they said it would run!! DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!! Why?? the reason why its not compatible is because my motherboard has PCI slots (maybe PC slots) and i need PCI-E slots.   I thought F***sake this will be costly to upgrade a Graphics, Motherboard and probably a CPU.

By next week if my motherboard had PCI-E slots i could have a BRANDNEW! NVIDIA 7300 GS PCI-E with TV tuner and HD.  I could have bought BF2 and BF2: SF!!!!!!

dam coputers can be annoying.....

They do everything!!! it gets on my nerves so much that they have such a monopoly on the gaming industry and there games don't really improve.

Sports: there better 2K's sports games ill say that but they never seem to improve that much at all, WOW new rosters in NBA 07!!! geese thats so cool thats the only difference from NBA 06!!! why the F*** did i waste my $90???

Some of there good games: Ok the Battlefield series is ok, so is The Godfather (that is just awesome), BLACK is also a very good first person shooter.  Apart from that you watch interviews and stuff and hearing the EA people they are so up themselves and the mojority of their games suck!  Need for speed is ok too.

Ok i think i have taken out my frustration and i hope you learnt something about EA.

I just made some cuts to my wishlist because i thought that there were a few games that i wouldn't get. I cut my wishlist back from 41 to 26

I should have my 360 in 15 or so days, Around the first couple days of september i hope to have it.  I will get GRAW with it along with the charge and play kit (or whatever you call it).

Also i can get Xbox Live definetly! i wasn't sure if my dad would say yes but i said that ide give him cash and he said yeh but your buying the ethernet cable!   Ohwell i don't care, i hope to have it about a month after getting the console.

Thanks to luckypool04 (who remined me about this in my previous blog) i have been a basic member for 1 year and 14 days now so i thought i would make a blog post about it.
