???

I moderately hope I'm not the only one who can make neither heads nor tails of this post and as such has contented with dismissing it as gibberish. Even though my curiosity does make me wonder what the creator of said post was trying to say but refused to really type out his words and present it.

Ah well.

I… I actually liked that game.

Oh no, don't get me wrong, ignore the topic creator because it is that bad. There was very little of what can constitute as good (the colorful environments, for one) to outweigh all the bad (unearthly slow combat) and make it worthy of playing.

But I bought this game simply to laugh at Sega trying to, once again, compete against Mario's wonderful brand (of RPGs) and fail miserably. And also because I really liked RPGs.

I was actually interested in the lore even though I had only play Sonic 1-3 on some old Sega consoles and gamegears and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for the gamecube (as well as the first gba Sonic game). So even with characters I wasn't familiar with I still was interested in knowing more about everything.

And even with the stupid plot archetypes and that funny ending, I… liked that game >__> :?

What can say? It's just a matter of the timeframe I played it in and state of mind. I was very open-minded and flexible 4 years ago.

The same flexibility that made me purchase, play, and actually kinda like Suikon Teirkries.

Similar to how Sony has ps1 games that can be played on the PSP, has Nintendo at all mentioned any plans to install a similar feature and let people play SNES games on their handheld? Be it Super Mario RPG, Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy, Donkey Kong Country, or any of those titles.

Was just wondering about any latest news that has transpired here on the primary games discussion forum.

Japan used to be really ahead of the US releases for the Professor Layton games. I don't know how quickly the English version releases have caught up, but I was wondering if there's another title for the DS after Professor Layton and the Last Specter? Since I hear it's the beginning of a new trilogy for the series?

I haven't played it yet, since I'm keeping it saved for a later date. A much later date. But in the meantime I was just curious and wondering about the series future even though I haven't caught up on the gameplay part of the series.

Such as when it will transition to a newer handheld. Just wondering about it in this primary games discussion area and the people that inhabit it.

*on a sidenote, has this always been a mix of both a 3DS forum and DS forum? Why wouldn't they separate the forums, wouldn't there be a bit of confusion and ultimately less convenience than actually giving two separate forums for two separate platforms? Regardless of whether or not they think the 3DS is an unbelievably disappointing sequel to the stellar DS handheld. It's just... strange, and highly unorthodox. Very strange.

Play the first 3 games, then play Apollo Justice. Don't deviate from this advice. As for rarity... well I can still find it New in my country, as well as the second and third game New, but I'm not from the US as you can see.

That is the order you should play them. Oh and if you're still interested in the series, you should check out Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth.

I strongly recommend you not check out this topic later on lest it be overrun with unwanted opinions that might influence your enjoyment of the games, regardless of whether or they are correct or present strong arguments, as that's not the point. The point is just enjoy the games in your own way.

Well good luck!

I'd prefer just a one-off book as opposed to an entire series, just a novel you know of that's a nice read, something to sit down and maybe relax with.

I don't really have a care for preferred types or genres, I just know that I'm not a fan of science fiction and affiliated genres, if I were to be specific about types of books I tend not to read.

Would also appreciate just giving a very brief, spoiler free description of any book you might recommend, and why it might be enjoyable to read. I do appreciate the time taken to help :) .

I personally just have to ask why so many people are going insane over the ending and feeling too impatient to wait for the next season. I didn't feel a lot of suspense at all. It wasn't even spoiled for me, but I guess after season 5 the very series itself just sort of lost its luster and intriguing aspects that previously held my attention.

There is not a single good component to this new format. Is it even beneficial to GameSpot in anyway other than being completely ludicrous? Is it perhaps cheaper, is that why it's so crappy?

A review that should be one page is stretched into two pages can be a bit inconvenient by the way. I say by the way because in addition to all the other problems the new layout presents, this is another one I stumbled upon while attempting to read a gamespot review of a video game. You will lose more people with this format, I suggest you change it back immediately. Your ratings have already dropped considerably.
