@Alpha_Wolf30 Japan is a very small market though, so it won't put a big dent in the global sales tally. That's also why the U.S. is getting the system first. Bigger market.

This doesn't seem impossible given the pent-up demand for new consoles. If there are any stellar games released in that window -- especially next-gen exclusives -- then it will only help Sony.

The real question is whether they could keep up such a sales pace for their entire first year or two.

@red_city I don't think anybody was looking for "positive female role models." I think that after ten different GTA games they'd be satisfied with just "playable character."

I love when developers release games before the console is available. I can just imagine thousands of kids clutching $60 game cases in their sweaty palms anxiously awaiting a midnight madness console release that's three days away. :-)

@partybro The RT should be compared to the iPad; the Pro is less of a tablet than a touch-screen ultrabook, and should be compared to say, the MacBook Air.
