4:39PM - busy fielding password resets and idiotic requests (one guy wants free service, one lady is paranoid over Google Maps) - such is the life of a technical support rep. I have a little time between my calls and thought i'd give the ol' bloggage a whirl.

For those who are interested: I apologize! There won't be a trigames.NET podcast this week. I've been completely busy this weekend eating, boozing, Guitar Hero-ing, recording my band's debut album (www.xaviermusica.com - shameless plug) and not sleeping much. I promise I will put extra oomph into the next episode for ya!

I'll be trying to finish Metroid Prime 2: Echoes tonight after work, since I haven't played it all weekend. I'm currently at about 40% gear, 60% scans, 8 hours played. The last gear I got before saving was the grapple beam (great fight, imo) and I'll be getting the last Dark Torvus temple key when I start playing tonight. For anyone who has completed the game, can you tell me if I can finish this game in one 7 to 8 hour session? I've been dying from stupidness before, but i'm going to be more pro about things now. (Is that even a proper use of "pro?") Of course, I'm doing this for one obvious reason.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is released tomorrow! W00T! I'm really looking forward to this and wish I had some personal time so I can book off of work to play.

I also ordered Top Secret Mission: Golgo 13 for 1 cent (and $3.99 shipping!) from eBay; got it in the mail today. Been years since I played it, and I used to be afraid of the FPS sequences. Hopefully I've "grown up" since then and can finally finish this one. I'll make some updates about that when I get to it.
