Boo-Yah! I Have Finished the Fight!

Yesterday to be exact, me and 3 of my friends, from where I live, played Halo 3 Campaign on XBL on Legendary, and we beat it in about a couple of hours! It was fun playing with them by kicking Brute and Flood ass. We unlocked lots of Achievement points + new customization armor for multiplayer (the helmet you get for beating Legendary is helluv weird).

For those that have Xbox Live also, my screenname is the same as my screenname here, "DaMentalTeen44". We're gonna be talkin' about this when we come back from the weekend. The only thing missing from that fun experience was that I already beat the game before on Normal and Easy, so I knew what was going to happen next.

Thanks for readin'!

Weird Things You Do? + Other

What are some weird things you do?

For me, I watch random videos on YouTube, and if I like a certain song played in the video, I look it up for a better quality version or something and then I add it to my favorites. That way, I can just keep the video replaying over and over as I do another thing with another window open. I'm not a patient person, so I don't even want to start downloading my favorite song.

That's one of the weird things I do.

--------------------------------

Anyone hear of the title for episodes 314 + 315 for Avatar: The Last Airbender? It's called The Boiling Rock. Sadly, everyone's having doubts for a 2-parter episode, and the last time we had a 2-parter was my favorite episode of the entire series (in action anyway). Although it's just a title, I still think it sounds a bit weak, but what if it's not an actual boiling rock and rather a place? My friend fromhigh schoolthought it would sound like a good name for a spa. I agreed, but Nickelodeon wouldn't allow such fan service for both guys and girls. Plus, we already had The Beach, lol.

---------------------------------

I have a new drug, and its name is Guitar Hero III. Right now, I suck compared to most players (look up a GH3 vid on YouTube to find people getting 5 stars on the hardest songs on the hardest difficulty), but it's still helluv fun. Right now, I'm stuck on Normal because I can't beat Through the Fire and Flames on that level. Once I do, I'll go on to Hard. I'm gonna get laughs for being terrible, but hey, at least it's fun.

---------------------------------

Today's 7th period was probably my favorite in a long time. We had a substitute today, but the sub was my (and everyone else's) favorite teacher from the 8th grade. We all thought he retired, but it turns out he just went up a grade like us, but became a sub rather than a teacher. It was cool being w/ one of my fav teachers for a whole period. Sadly though, after halfway through, our teacher returned and he had to go. I still miss having all my teachers from 8th grade because those ones taught while being friendly enough to talk to them. The teachers I have now aren't like that, and are a bit more distant.

Hell, our old-teacher-turned-sub was a fav among everyone that one of our classmates from last year as well calls him "A Pimp", and he sees that as a compliment.

Many, Many, Many Things to Cover

Just a bunch of things to get off my back in case people were wondering if I were part of the many people banned lately.

1. I'm NOT banned, and that's good.

2. Many of my friends are, and that's bad (Atu_1 sent all his friends the message saying so). That REALLY sucks, for some of them I knew as the ones that everyone knew. Just like the cool and good popular kid at school.

3. I returned to high school on Monday, so I was trying to use part of the time to catch-up on things.

4. I used the rest of time installing and playing on Xbox Live! For those who have it too and just want to add for the helluv it, it's DaMentalTeen44.

5. For those who read the old The Outcast FF series I made, sorry to say this, but I dropped out on it and so their is no complete Book 4, so the real ending was Book 3. It was getting WAY too complicated and I wasn't getting much hits/reviews on FF.net, so I stopped. Instead, I made other and new ones that are more popular on the site. My most popular is The GAang and the Fire Nation School that is less than 10 reviews away on making 100, but it's complete, so I doubt more reviews will come.

6. I'm currently on 2 different FF's called Team Yori of Konoha, a Naruto FF, and the sequel to TGatFNS called The GAang and the Lotus Society. I also plan on a one-shot of a Call of Duty FF and maybe even start another FF on Ratchet and Clank when I complete my other 2. I know most people don't read them at all, but hey, it's to those that do.

7. *WARNING: CHEESY ADVERTISEMENT AHEAD. NOT SUITABLE FOR THOSE WITH ANTI-ADVERTISMENT SYNDROME OR "DEATH OF A SALESMAN" SYNDROME*

Do you like reading both FFs and real stories, but don't feel like going to your school's library to get a new book or are tired of reading the endless amounts of Adventure and/or Romance FFs? Then check out FF.net's sister site called FictionPress.net. Original stories go here, and it's laid out almost exactly like FF.net. I plan on even starting an original military story there for those interested. :D

8. For the Xbox Live thing, I only have 3 games that can play there, but one of them I haven't even played yet. I have Halo 3 (my current one playing), Gears of War, and the less popular one, Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation.

Thanks for reading another pointless blog that was read just because you were bored! Cya!!

Random Person to Talk About and Other Stuff

I feel like I know lots of people on the internet that not much others know, yet they're quite popular if you go to the right places (sites). But I'm not talking about like the guys from Smosh, which is the most suscribed channel ever on YouTube; I'm talking about those who are worth mentioning and aren't too widely known in the internet world.

This person is a huge fan of the animated series called Naruto and shows it by doing lots of things. He's/she's made many things related to parody in some way, such as "Funny Strangely Drawn Naruto Scenes & Oddities" on YouTube (http://youtube.com/watch?v=eYe2Bv-ZmsM) and written a parody FanFic that's probably the funniest of them all called "The Mating Frenzy" on the main fanfiction site (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3064884/1/The_Mating_Frenzy). He's/she's also made some art on DeviantART on the show and many of them are connected to the FanFic (http://mskydragons.deviantart.com/). The best part is that the FanFic was so funny and good that many people on DeviantART drew scenes from the FF in honor of the FF (Example: http://rain42.deviantart.com/art/Casualty-of-War-sketch-version-40125985).

I'm, of course, talking about MSkyDragons. To me, MSD is the most well-known Naruto fan out there. If you disagree, please tell me, I'm curious, lol. Yes, "curiosity killed the cat", but it's hard trying to follow every damn quote about life,

I just felt like talking about MSD because he's/she's done so much because he/she likes the show that much. Sure, they're parodies, but at least MSD watches them still to get the parody jokes!

If there's anyone else like this and needs to be worth mentioning, even if they're on this very site, don't be shy to admire a fellow fan/something else.

-----

On Christmas, I got 3 video games called Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, and Warhawk.

Out of the 3, my favorite is RaCF because I'm a huge fan of the RaC series and played every game, minus the PSP ones. Uncharted is a rad game as well; mixing puzzles and action. The only problem with this is the frequent times when you're in an area for 10 minutes because you have no idea where to go, then it's so obvious after they give you a hint for waiting so long, lol. Warhawk's okay. It's really fun at times, but it only has 5 maps (if you buy the extra one), and it can be very frustrating with your teammates because speed is critical, but they don't care to help their teammates when the jeep they're riding in can carry 3 people, but he takes off right away. :(

"Oh don't mind us, we like walking!!" - Adam Sessler, during a review for Battlefield 2 in X-Play.

Sorry for the long blog again, but I get carried away. Plus, I'm bored, , it gives me something to do.

The Totally Rad Show's Best of 2007

There's an online series called The Totally Rad Show on Revision3.com that rates movies, shows, games, and sometimes other things such as comics. If you want to know what's new and if it's good or not, the 3 guys who host it (Alex, Dan, and Jeff) will say what they thought of it. And these guys aren't proffesionals (except for Dan in the movie section); they think like the average person. So for a special episode, they thought of their favorites of the Movies, Games, and TV Shows of the year today, and here's what they said in the episode:

Jeff's Top Lists

Movies:

1. Children of Men

2. No Country for Old Men

3. Sicko

4. Gone Baby Gone

5. Ratatouille

Games:

1. Bioshock

2. The Orange Box

3. Puzzle Quest

4. Super Mario Galaxy

5. Call of Duty 4

TV Shows:

1. Pushing Daisies

2. Little People Big World

3. Avatar: The Last Airbender

4. It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia

5. The Shield

Dan's Top Lists

Movies:

1. No Country for Old Men

2. Juno

3. Gone Baby Gone

4. Eastern Promises

5. Zodiac

Games:

1. Call of Duty 4

2. Super Mario Galaxy

3. Mass Effect

4. Puzzle Quest

5. The Orange Box

TV Shows:

1. Pushing Daisies

2. Kid Nation

3. So You Think You Can Dance

4. Avatar: The Last Airbender

5. Heroes (Last half of Season 1)

Alex's Top Lists

Movies:

1. No Country for Old Men

2. Planet Terror

3. Michael Clayton

4. Beowulf

5. Transformers

Games:

1. Call of Duty 4

2. Portal (One of the game in The Orange Box)

3. Mass Effect

4. Puzzle Quest

5. World of Warcraft (It had an expansion this year, so it counts)

TV Shows:

1. 30 Rock

2. Avatar: The Last Airbender

3. House

4. Supernatural

5. Dr. Who

OVERALL WINNERS:

Movies: No Country for Old Men

Games: Call of Duty 4

TV Shows: Avatar: The Last Airbender

For the Movies category, I wouldn't be able to choose because of all the movies released; I honestly don't know how they made their Movies List because of that. So for the movies, I can't complain since I haven't seen NCfOM. I completely agree with the winners of the games and shows, for those were my choices, :D .

For those who haven't seen or heard of The Totally Rad Show, it's on Revision3.com and they just review mainly movies, games, and shows for approximately 1 hour (sorta like a taped podcast), with some other stuff in between, such as fan mail and other activities they do. I was told about it on this very site so I know at least 1 person from here likes it as well.

What's Your New Year's Resolution?

Last year, being an Avatard, I posted that every Avatard's resolution had to follow certain steps to be a true Avatard. This year... I decided to let the people speak of what they wish to do since I have twice as much... or ten times as much friends than last year.

But I gotta say: 2007 was an awesome year.

For the TV/Movies, it was the year of the #3 (Pirates of the Caribbean 3, 3rd season of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Spider-Man 3, 3rd Bournemovie with Matt Damon, you get the idea). Not just the #3 affected the movies and shows, but just brand new movies have been awesome to inspirational, while a few had both.

So many Abridged series on YouTube have been added, while our dearest ones have been shot down by flaggers. Most of the new ones might suck compared to the original ones, but hey, at least the old ones have encouraged them to give it a shot. LittleKuriboh, creator of the Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series, and MasakoX, co-creator of the Naruto: The Abridged Series, have both been banned because of Anime Flaggers AKA those with no life. But even with both of them banned, their fans continue to post their videos up and continue to let us view them as much as we want.

The gaming industry also experienced its first full year with the new-gen consoles. Xbox360 continues to be popular among the internet with Halo 3, Bioshock, and Gears of War, while PS3 and the Wii also have their fans and games, such as Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Speaking of gaming, anyone seen the online machinima called Red vs Blue? It's probably the funniest online series on Earth, and sadly, after 100 episodes, it ended this year as well. Signs of a spin-off are at large, but it still hasn't arrived, but I'm praying it'll come!

It was also my 1st year in High School, yes, a Freshman. I thought it would be like on Family Guy on how everyone attacked the Freshmen, but it wasn't bad at all, and I even had a Sophmore friend right when I entered, so I wasn't all n00bish

Then, some personal tragedies occurred this year as well. A death of a family member which caused the entire home to be silent for 24 hours, another family member getting cancer, and just the lack of seeing them, for I live 3 hours away from the nearest one that isn't a sibling or parent.

All in all, it was a unique year for me. Many new friends on the internet to real-life.

Anyway, enough of my boring background and thoughts. My resolution is to get into great shape and become known for being a smart athlete, for I'm encouraged by Rocky Balboa, lol.

What's Your New Year's Resolution?

P.S.

Quote of the Moment - "The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows; it's a very mean and nasty place, and I don't care how tough you are, it'll beat you to your knees and keep you there permenetely if you let it. No one hits you harder than life, but it ain't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward." - Rocky, Rocky Balboa

The saying that everyone under 17 should go under. That's what I'm going to do; I'm gonna listen to old Rocky!

Holy Crap on Last Blog!!

Who knew that if I asked a simple question on a blog that I would get over 65 comments on it? Several were from people I never tracked or met before. And ya SSK, I know it was another pointless blog, but hey, it's mine, and I could do whatever I want with it, lol.

I'm now tracking everyone who posted on the blog, hopefully they won't mind, but it's a little thank you for commenting.

And you don't have to post over 11 times to be called a true friend, but at least you're showing that you think that!

It was funny how I logged in after taking a break from t3h internet and I come back here to find 13 more people tracking me + 67 comments on my latest blog. Shocking...yes. Am I happy that I got my question answered...hell yeah!

Thanks for readin'!

TMT

What Does It Take to Get a Lot of Comments?

Some people on the blogs seem to get so many comments, even on some that just say "hi" or something short. Is there more than just having many friends tracking, or is it the history of funny and good blogs that the people know? Just curious, because the most I ever had (I think) was 10 and that was on a FanFic chapter I posted here, lol.

Thanks for readin'!

P.S.

All owners of the PS3, Xbox360, and PC must get Call of Duty 4!!

Vote for Avatar for Best Animated Show of 2007! Every Vote Counts!!

The contestants for this year are:

South Park

Avatar: The Last Airbender (BOO-YAH!!)

Family Guy

The Simpsons

Metalocalypse

Frisky Dingo

I have never heard of the last 2 shows, but they're on Adult Swim. It seems that they, again, didn't put in Naruto. I think only American shows are in all of these lists because of that. But seriously, Metalocalypse and Frisky Dingo?! I'd replace them with Robot Chicken and (I'm ashamed of myself) Spongebob Squarepants. Anyway, here's the link to it:

http://www.tv.com/special_feature/best-of-2007/genre/index.html?page=4

I voted only once because it'll be more fair, but I won't and can't stop you if you vote more than once, lol. Vote for A:tLA!!
