Hey guys I'm about to build a new computer and just wanted to double check if this is a good system and where/if it can be improved without costing too much more of course. Also I'm not really sure about the whole Core i7 thing as I don't know much about it but I'm told it's good. Anyways here goes:

Mobo: Asus P6T
CPU: Core i7 920
RAM: 3x2GB Kingston DDR3 RAM
HDD: WD 1TB (plus a 750gb from my current computer)
GPU: I'm retaining my 1GB 9800GTX+ from my current computer.
OS: 64bit Vista Ultimate
Case: Coolermaster HAF 932

Need help with what PSU I would need for all that and if those parts are all good

well lets see... MS had something innovative and Sony had glorified Wiimotes where they used an eye toy instead of a sensor bar... well done. People don't get that Natal could do that if they wanted all they need is a plastic stick a certain colour that the camera can recognise and bam. No contest.

Yeah I'm a Forza fan and even I can see that this is crap, use same quality images from both games. I actually wanted to see a side by side comparison.

Hahah hell no dude, not only did MS totally burn Sony by taking another exclusive, fighting Bluray with on demand 1080p movies, hitting back at KZ2 and GT with a new Halo (plus ODST) and Forza 3 BUT now they've made it clear that their done fighting Sony for second and have their sights firmly on Nintendo.

Did any one else notice in odst there was a dude on the screen in the pod wearing the armour bungie only gives out to a few people, forgot whats its called but you know what I mean right.

Well my computer has 4 ports at the back and 2 on the top, but I'm only using 3 (2 for keyboard, 1 for mouse). Sometimes 4 if i'm charging my ipod but problem occurs regardless.

Oh and the keyboard also has its own USB port on the keyboard itself... which is probably why it takes up 2 USB ports.

Ok so I have a Razer Lycosa keyboard and a Razer Copperhead Mouse.
Every hour or so while using my computer, my mouse will stop responding (all while lit up and still appearing functional) for varying amounts of time. The Weird part is that if I press a key on my keyboard the mouse will start working again. The only thing I can think of that sets it off is when I haven't touched the keyboard for a while and therefore must press a key to get the mouse respond.

The most logical thing I can think ofis a conflict between the razer drivers in which case I'm pretty screwed because I have the latest for both. Because about a month ago I upgraded from a Microsoft media keyboard and didn't have any problems then.

Any of you guys know what's going on? Do you think upgrading to the RazerLachesis (however you spell it) will fix the problem?

Agreed that once you actually need that kind of power the card will be a lot cheaper.

The thing I don't understand is people always say whoa now that i've spent some rediculous amount of money I can play HL2 with 400fps. All you need is 30 and that's slightly above what the human eye can see. I suppose it is a hobby and I like to waste money on cars but when it comes to having an average of 30fps or 300fps on the same settings it really doesn't matter.

I've been using my 312mb 8800GTS for nearly 2 years now and it's a great little card, I can play a lot of games still on rather high settings, but it's not like I'm maxing crysis or anything but then again Crysis is a pretty game... but it isn't that great gameplay wise to be honest, really.
