[QUOTE="w4rrior17"]Lol, is a killcam really that big a deal?kieranb2000
Yes, people like being able to camp/ not know how or why they died. They are strange people, but people nonetheless (or so I've heard!)

Yes because you need a picture of the person who killed you to work out if you were shot, naded or fell from too high. Please. Also regular spectate mode does a far better job of everything you mentioned.

It's cool in TF2 where you have all this random crap going on which can make for some pretty funny screens, but in CS 99% of the time it's a CT/T standing or crouching with their gun of choice... it's boring and pointless considering the alternative.

there have been like 2 games that have ever had dedicated servers on Xbox and that was Battlefront 1 and Battlefront 2. Plus you had to have an entire xbox with a second copy host it and at that nobody seems to have past 2mbps upload which is still too slow.

simardbrad

Pretty sure Bad Company 2 uses dedicated servers on the consoles, that's why console gamers have started caring about them all of a sudden.

And on topic putting ded servers on consoles costs a lot of money, on PC it doesn't cost anything because anyone can host them.

Everything is fine, plus I like that it looks a bit better. Thank god you can turn off that noob fortress killcam thing though otherwise I would be angry as well.

Actually come to think of it, I hate it that they took out the CS name feature... so now you have to use your Steam name.

Wait...there are people who don't play TF2?

lostrib

Yeap, it averages less than half the players of CSS.

I have a 360 and a PS3 as well as my PC. I prefer my 360 over the PS3 though, I love Forza. Also the controller on the 360 isn't a POS like the PS3's.

Yeah, if the server is located in China, stay away. I got the same e-mail, but because I don't play WoW I decided it was a scam and deleted it.Gammit10

Same

I also keep getting emails telling me my Aion account has been involved in an infringement of game rules and to follow the link to verify it's me and not someone else. Only problem is I've never played Aion.

[QUOTE="loadedboon"]

[QUOTE="alexfla"]

If my intention was to get it to cost the highest possible, I could make it cost over $15,000.

I just used the parts that are absolutely necessary for a hard core gamer who will ABSOLUTELY NOT ACCEPT ANY COMPROMISES!!!

SakusEnvoy

Hmmm kay let's do this for the PS3 for the full experience.

Console - $300

1TB HD- $100

3 extra controllers - $150

Headset - $40

3D TV - $5000

4 3D Glasses - $400

makes a grand total of $5950 to have absolutely no compromises for the serious PS3 gamer compared to my less then $900 PC which wipes the floor with that PS3. So you were saying?

But, you're still making compromises... I mean, no Playstation Move controllers?! (I concede they're not out yet, but pre-ordering is a must).

Oh but you need the PS eye camera as well

Not to mention a high end 7.1 surround sound system and the TV recorder addon.... it just never seems to end.

Kinect is clearly the best motion capture device of the 3, I think if it they could include a controller it would really be the best experience. Anyways unless that happens I think PSMove will be my only venture into the world of motion gaming, because unlike Microsoft they're showing off move games that appeal to gamers as well as ones for casuals.

It would have been nice if it supported pedals and steering wheel, though.... As it stands now, your either got the car's acceleration floored or don't, either have the brakes to the floor, or don't.... and are either in a full turn or not. Makes for some real erratic driving and constant keyboard picking.... If they are going to enhanced the driving physics, then they should have allowed linear controls for the brake, accelerator, and steering on the PC version.Threesixtyci

That's a problem with the controller not the game, GTAIV like most games that involve driving allow for analog acceleration, braking and turning. The keyboard however does not.

Most people get around this by tapping instead of just mashing the keys or they buy a 360 controller (or whatever) since using a steering wheel and pedals in GTA isn't the most practical thing.
