Not to nit pick what youre saying or anything but the i find a couple things about the necrons killing everything. Suposidly thouse guys the "old ones" created the eldar right. then the eldar helped them fight the necrons. So if the necrons killed everyone then why are there eldar? REAPER0FNID

I think when I wrote that I meant the Tyranids weren't as much of a threat to the Necrons as they are to every other race.

Simply because Necrons can't be defeated by the Tyranids simply destroying all life and atmosphere on one of their tomb worlds.. at which point the Tyranids would just move on and the Necrons would remain.

That's if it did come to an engagement though, apparently the hive fleet avoids tomb worlds like the plague.

I would love to be able to walk into a games store with the max price being $60USD... Americans just don't know how good they've got it.

Yeah because it's not like one of the most modded engines of all time has mandatory Steam on all its games or anything....

Well my Fallout 3 Copy doesn't state you need Steam to play it at all and Fallout New Vegas is using the same engine as that so...yeah. @Ikavnieks: Ah, I stand corrected. Delightful. =3

I was referring to the Source engine and its massive library of community content.

Doesn't it run on the Oblivion engine? Valve themselves released a file for the Steam version of that game just so people could use the most popular plugin... I forget what it's called but something that most of the mods required.

Maybe I should try it, I'm skeptical though because every exclusive I buy on PS3 is meh and the controller is from the 20th century.

CellAnimation

What the? The PS3 has some great exclusive games. By the way the mouse was patented in the 1970s, and the QWERTY keyboard back in the 19th century... so yeah... whatever! :P

The QWERTY keyboard and the mouse serve purposes other than gaming. PC games were made for the tech... not the other way around. Consoles are different, you have something solely for gaming. The original dual shock controller was conceived by sticking 2 analog sticks onto the bottom of the original PS controller so it would function as a regular PS controller if needed (which it was).

The controller puts unnecessary strain on your hands through your thumbs because the sticks are so close together and too far down from where the handles are. If you wrap your hands around a 360 controller you'll notice that your left thumb sits over the left stick naturally and that your right thumb sits in between the buttons and the right stick; and the handles go right into the grooves of your hand. Now that's a well thought out controller.

"One particularly novel development is the introduction of hero units." "Based on mythologized historical figures like the warrior monk Benkei, hero units are a nearly unstoppable force on the battlefield, capable of holding bridge crossings against entire armies, or smashing through a battle line to engage the enemy general." Sigh...Swiftstrike5

True... that got me kind of worried when reading. If it's gonna turn into some Jet Li movie in the middle of the battlefield then that will be lame.

Yeah just sounds like the site you're downloading from is slow... try downloading from a site closer to where you live preferably.

The problem with Beat Hazard is that if the music isn't fast enough then it makes it real hard for you take down the bosses and sometimes the game chucks a boss or 2 at you during the slow part of a song :S

I love Beat Hazard but I think Audiosurf does a better job of translating the music into the look and play of the game.
