When you say Government do you mean more building or political games? Because unlike Tropico most games usually go one way or the other.

Maybe Sim City 4?

[QUOTE="cobrax25"]

[QUOTE="Levrar"]You can try Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, there is a free demo on Steam and the game is only $30.kdawg88

Dont.

Go for the actual sequal to Operation: Flashpoint instead, also known as Arma 2.

Explain how it is the sequel (I'm not trying to be sarcastic here.)

Bohemia interactive who made the original OFP split with Codemasters. Because Codemasters owned the rights to OFP they had to continue the series under the title ArmA which was followed by ArmA 2.

Just playing them you can tell which is the real sequel and which is the crappy console game.

It's funny how many people use Steam as a scape goat for problems on their end. Your ping is exactly that: YOUR ping. Nothing to do with Steam.

I own it and don't have it installed... last time I played it there was only 1 server in my region. I decided I liked the extra space on my hard drive more.

I've already stopped playing BC2, I check in every now and again to see if they've finally fixed the server browser... still no luck. It takes me longer to find a server to join than the time I spend in the actual game.

I don't think they're targeting Mac 'gamers'. I think instead they're just targeting Mac users who might want to play a game or two, for the casual indy developers and PopCap, Steam for Mac will be awesome.

I also have friends who own iMac's and Macbook's and have windows installed on themsolely to play games, my friend loves the idea of not having to reboot into windows to play a game of L4D2 with us.

It's probably one of the worst games I've ever played. It actually made me see why people like WoW so much...

[QUOTE="the_mitch28"]

[QUOTE="FelipeInside"] Why is it better of the two? (I ask cause I have a PS3)FelipeInside

Better graphics and better framerate on the 360 version, you'll find this with most multiplat release games.

Anyway RDR is probably the best game to come out this year so far, so if you were on the fence about getting a console for these types of releases then this should definitely tilt you over.

Better graphics on a 360? Really...cause every game I've seen it looks better on a PS3....

Yeah easily, I own both but always purchase on the 360 if it's a multiplat. Plus open world games usually run better on the 360 due to not having RAM limitations like the PS3.

It seems like you've just seen the PS3 game and assumed it looks the best... as most sole PS3 owners do.
