@Canadianloki @Operational117 @the_requiem @cmacinnis Besides, truthfulness of a rumor is directly proportional to time to reveal/release. Closer a rumor to the reveal date, greater the probability it is true.
@jmc88888 As of today it doesn't add anything but doesn't mean it never will. Never say never when it comes to tech. One more thing, you'd be okay with it if it were to be like Steam... can play even when off, only on to buy games.
@grove12345 @malec_1 Steam is confirmed to be always online, truth is known. In case of 720 truth is not known. There is a difference. Can YOU confirm 720 is not "always on" to counter those who say Steam is "not always one"? You can't. That is why Steam thing is a lie while 720 one is a rumor. Learn the difference between two.
@CecilChups Think of it this way, some people are ignorant or stupid enough to don't care about this stuff. These are the sort of people who are more likely to pay for things they don't need. These are the sort of people who are more likely to pay for microtransactions, for Netflix, Hulu access, pay extra for privilege to see ads on their dashboard. In other words, they may sell less, but will earn enough from those fools to make up for lost sales.
@clynch0527 @the_requiem So you're saying American spellings should be used on all American owned websites. Why, then they should add Japanese manuals, dashboard and voice commands in all those Japanese cars too. You should learn Japanese to use Japanese goods, no?
@Salt_AU @jmc88888 Good analogy. To make my point:
1. No one was forced to use horses over automobiles. Automobiles are a better option available to those who want to use. 2. Infrastructure [roads] were put in place to use automobiles and even then they were useless if you live someplace where roads weren't good enough for them.
So yeah, we'll get there eventually and some cities are already there. But as a business it doesn't make sense to rule out a significant chunk of your customer base.
