@hector530 @snxx You're making classic mistake of putting cart before the horse. Story comes first [or gameplay in games] Graphics, Art design et al serve story/gameplay, not other way around.
@CecilChups But aren't you making same mistake as this senator: Confusing fantasy violence as an escape with real life violence. Am sure many of us who enjoy violent games wouldn't be any violent in real life. Fantasy Violence, like shooting at a range, is one of the many release that is needed for healthy living. Though I'd say violence may not be in our DNA as a species but definitely is in our DNA as civilization(s).
@RobDev You know why that is? It is because of easy access to guns for those are mentally unwell/unstable. It is not the no. of guns that are problem, but how easy for anyone with issues to go undetected and end up with access to guns. Sadly, no one has the balls to address the real issue here.
@fredyellowone @ChaosUndivided Not that they decided it was bad, more like they need a scapegoat to blame everything on. Denial and passing the buck are always easier than confronting a problem head on, and in past few decades passing the buck and denial have become sort of a national pastime.
All these US politicians mus be mentally ill if they can't tell difference between reality and fantasy. Am not too worried. Is is just another case ofa generation that doesn't understand a media they're not familiar with. 20 odd years from now when every politician would've played games as a teenager, all this will amount to nothing.
Demon's Souls is one of my fav games this gen, even completed an SL1 run. But with real life catching up [work, baby] unable to find time to invest in a game like this. I am someone who would be able to play the game if it were any easier. But if it were any easier, I wouldn't want to play it at all.
