@Dragon_Nexus @firstclassgamer Good points. At end of day, there is no foolproof solution, but all you can do is try different things to minimize the probability. But background checks and mental health infrastructure are part of it. I'd add addressing bullying too.

@firstclassgamer Lanza wasn't criminal, nor was Holmes. But yes, better and regular checks.. like a gun license you need to renew [similar to driving license] would help. Make it easy for folks to buy guns, but make sure

@firstclassgamer I think your 3rd point sums up the paranoia pretty well. It is citizens who "rise up" against its government, got the semantics wrong. Problems is not gun ownership, but insufficient checks to ensure responsible folks are only ones owning guns. Yeah, Good guy with gun, but how to find who is good and who isn't? Guns for everyone means EVERYONE, including bad guys and nut cases. Criminals will always have access, problem here is nuntcases getting access to them.

NRA is just a front for gun manufacturers masquerading as front for gun owners. It is not about Second Amendment as much as they'd lead you to believe. It is about defending their source of income. They only want more people to have more guns. You put gun in every hand and some of those hands will go crazy [or accidentally] and lives will be lost. So guns for everyone isn't a solution. Guns for everyone who demonstrates maturity to handle them responsibly, and only them, is the solution. Give everyone a gun and guns will replace fists to settle bar brawls and will be wild west all over again.

@Allerletzt @pongley @Jarten Errr.. no. Weapons are designed to kill. They have no other purpose. Hunting is killing. Target Practice as a hobby is no different from playing videogames as a hobby. I mean, by the asinine logic they're using, arent you more likely to feel urge to shoot someone if you "target practice" or hunt regularly? Hmmm... maybe someone should do a study on how target practice or hunting increases violent tendencies like watching violent movies and playing violent videogames does. I mean, hunting is also called "game" isn't it?

@Kevin-V @djblazeapound Just coz someone is a dev doesn't mean they can't suck. It's like saying guys who design and make cars are the best drivers. Compare any dev gameplay pre-release with post-release videos on youtube and it will be players who play it better than any dev. e.g. He isn't using Fire weapons against flesh enemies. Remember that Terra fight where Randy and 3 others struggled to beat while community had 7 sec kill videos within a week. So yeah, guys on internet DO play better than devs.

@phrozac @FanboyslayerPS As much as I'm enjoying this converstion, I'd say I agree with OP that Difficulty and Post Game should've been a patch independent of the DLC so everyone gets it for free.

@Daian Denial is a powerful medicine. I played it at friend's WiiU. To be honest, it was more tedious than fun or scary. Mind you, this is coming from someone who doesn't play ANY millitary shooter and prefers slow burn atmospheric games.

@WhiteStormy I'd say Warren Beaty as Yellow Bird, Christopher Mint Plasse as Red Bird and Anne Hathaway as Blue Bird.
