@MJ-X It has nothing to do with "LAWS". It is more about greed. Local retailers can't charge a premium if you can just import it [or get friends to get it] for way cheaper.

@KhanhAgE Same here. Would've got a 3DS and a WiiU already if they weren't region locked. I travel around for work and try to pick up games that are not available back home. So Region Lock = instant no sale. If PS4, for some reason, goes for region lock, I'll be sticking to PC and Vita.

I have only one question as it is the most important criteria for me to buy a console: Will games be region locked? I pick my games from travel across the world and can't buy a console that can't play games from different regions.

Almost all the features that were talked in yesterdays conference hold no appeal to anyone outside of US, and maybe UK.

Not sure about streaming, but am from India and all their non-game features amount to ZERO in India and most of South Asia.
