I just played Halo: combat evolved yesterday. It is a very well made game, to be sure. The guns are good, the scenery is good, the mechanics of everthing are good. the game just plays very well, but I dont really like it. It's just a shooter. Just a shooter. I'll get Halo 3 bec of the graphics and bec. nothing else remotely interesting is going to be out.

by the way, when i doubt or if not in doubt, Rent :)

thanks

Because of SK's attention to detail, not just in the presentation department but in the immersion area, I CAN'T WAIT for this game to surface onto the circuit city shelves. admittedly I have not read the blogs on other games, but IGN's Too Human blog gives such a rich impression that I think the game will be spectacular.

I hope others are eager for this, what will surely be, special game.

Comments are good.

Thanks

[QUOTE="pageiszepplin"]i hear different things from people on xbox live that i should just rent it or it is a must buy. help me by voicing your opinions. (oh i would buy it in store credit so im not spending money and i dont care about achievements. should i use my credit on something else?)SystemaKid

the game is unique to a point but not enough to buy; however, if you like actually taking the time to appreciate the highly rich scenery, which is present in just about every room, I would say that it is worth buying. but then again, If you have any qualms about killing people, dont buy, just rent.

good luck

u changed ur whole perspective on the game. In your big thread about hurting the children in stuff. Im kinda proud of u. But then again.......

the game is still too violent and not unique enough, which is why I dont really enjoy it too much. somehow killing people just ruins the experience, butthe scenery is simply lovely. so, i'm still anxiously waiting for Too Human.

thanks

Have an elite that I bought 1.5 months ago, andits slighly quiter than the premium I returned 2 months ago, but it's still too loud for a gaming machine. A good example of quiet is everything else. so, what i do is put the elite in position A, against the wall, then put the tv about 3 feet away from it, and i sit about 2.5 feet away from the tv. Yet, i realize that this situation is not practical for most people.

thanks

i never played that game, but if the only thing that doesnt work is sound, it could be crappy emulation. a lot of xbox games that should work on x360 have bugs, and i read somewhere that some games are virtually unplayable. in hl2, sometimes the games has random multicolored flashes and then freezes. in halo 2 sometimes a "burn in" effect is experienced. if you still have xbox, just play it on that or wait till they update it again... i dunno, but you didnt do anything wrong, its just crappy emulation. (99.9% sure about it)Xeros606

thank you very much. maybe i'll call the support line to see.
