I want to burn my data onto DVD's. Which company/model should I invest in?

Also, will any DVD burner be able to burn DVD-DL (DVD9 a.k.a. Double Layer DVD) discs?

I use a Logitech V220 Cordless Optical (1000DPI HD).

It hasn't let me down so far :)

Because it's popular? Anyway, the point is that they do support WMV playback (why else would they have an option that's supposed to enable you to view WMV files!)

If you got a computer or access to one, grab a usb thumb stick, go to the Playstion website and download the firmware update to you thumbstick. Then proceed to intalling it on your PS3.Adultgmr77

I've already installed the latest firmware update (version 2.20) but I'm still not able to view the WMV files.

I tried viewing some WMV (Windows Media Video) files on my PS3 today, but got a message that said: "WMV playback not enabled. Go to system->settings->video->Enable WMV playback". When I tried doing that, I got another message that said: "Network cable not connected". Basically, I haven't yet connected my PS3 to the internet and don't plan on doing so for a while (since I don't have broadband yet).

Has anyone else faced this issue while trying to play WMV files? If so, how can I resolve this?

I'd like to see a new Prince of Persia game for the PS3. Also, a new James Bond game would be great, I thoroughly enjoyed 'Everything or Nothing' on the PS2!

Try Assassin's Creed or even Devil May Cry 4.

Yes I have 4 USB slots as well as some slots for memory sticks. So I have reason to believe that I haven't been duped. In any case I've almost finished downloading the PS3 Update file version 2.20 (128MB). Too bad I don't have broadband yet, but owning a PS3 has given me enough reasons to seriously consider getting a faster connection :)
