Thanks, but the comparison isn't that great because the Genesis actually surpassed 1 million in Japan.

Sony is so stupid..... WTF they alienate 80 % of the hd community that only can do 1080i..... I for one will not buy a ps3 unless it upscales to 1080i the most used hd signal... Sony royally sucks that they still haven't fixed this problem. You know what the real reason is that the PS3 does not have a scaler and it will never come, if this is the case sony nailed the last nail in their coffin. meankilleR

The similarities are uncanny between Sega and 360, not mentioning the Peter Moore Factor.

-Both Consoles tried to come out first with edgy better graphics before the competition-
