@JustPlainLucas: Threatening people lives (even though we all know the threats are empty) is absolutely toxic behavior. It doesn't really fall under masculinity.
That said, I'll admit that I read a few of the angry posts here and chuckled a bit. LOL
@Byshop: Men like naked girls but dislike volleyball, unless they can spike someone else in the face. Men don't mind the odd cases where the girls are cartoons (it's the thought that counts). However, most won't pay for this or play.
@JustPlainLucas: I think the people who has a problem with...anything remotely like this game should just boycott men already and get it over with. Admit defeat let's stop playing all these games. LOL.
They are trying to stomp out symptoms of what they think is a disease...masculinity! Hahaha. It is a losing battle, but I must say, sadly, these days they are making a few dents.
@CatAtomic999: More likely the situation is that the market isn't large enough to bother selling outside of Japan and dealing with any backlash. The game should just get folded into DOA as a bonus mode...that is after DOA gets brought up to current gen standards.
@NoahRoalson: "Politically correct" isn't even the proper term. They just don't want to deal with any negative press or backlash. It is not worth it to them, in the end, monetarily. If Tecmo could guarantee 5 million international sales, the game would be released outside of Japan.
@Seerix: If a site has a single reviewer providing extreme review scores, then it is time to go to no score or multiple reviewers for each game like EGM back in the 80's and 90's.
@BravoOneActual: Was it built by BI? The original OP: FP was somewhat ugly but great. Dragon Rising seemed pretty dumbed down. I was under the impression the original team went to develop ARMA.
@jagdedge124: I don't see what they big deal is about not having a campaign. None of the original Battlefield games had campaigns. You could just play against bots (which I did often). The Battlefront games didn't have campaigns, either, unless you want to count Galactic Conquest mode. How does someone buy a game completely unaware that is doesn't have a campaign?
