Finally. The story in that game is very compelling. The ending was great, but the final boss battle was excruciatingly easy. I mean the final boss just hops around and shoots rockets going at about 5 mph, and then you just shoot him after you get out of the way. I wish at the end you could complete some of the sidequests in some kind of "free roam" mode, but like any other RPG or mario game I've ever played, it just either forces you to shut off your console, or it just takes you back to the main menu. Nevertheless, I thought Mass Effect was an excellant one player game, and it definately gives WRPG's (Western RPGs) a good name. Highly recommended.

Friday night, I finally got xbox live. Been playing halo 3 for a while now, been pretty fun. People told me halo 3 would be challenging for xbox live noobs, but i found it rather easy. I get the most kills in my 16-person party almost 50% of the time. I've played in about 20 matches, and have 13 exp thus far.

after some fiddling around, I got my laptop to connect and share media and internet with my 360. Now I can listen to all my music via my 360 and its surround sound. I can also watch all my videos, and get an internet connection. Finally, I can view all my photos. Having a game console that works in sync with today's PC has its advantages. Gonna test xbox live this weekend. :D

Yes, hail the tigers. LSU beat Ohio State in the National Championship game. Both teams had nice leads at some point, but once halftime hit, the game was basically uninteresting. What is up with the BCS? I thought those games were supposed to be high-powered close matchups. The BCS Bowls had an average victory margin of 20 points. The only close game out of the five was Kansas and Virginia Tech. Kansas won by 3. I know a playoff system is not the answer, but I think something has to be done about the college football postseason.

I saw some pretty good games last weekend. All 4 of the games seemed to have some 4th quarter drama. The closest game was Jacksonville and Pittsburgh, but I think the mosy exciting game was Seattle and Washington. The game was very boring at first, but a ton of excitement in the 4th quarter made that game extremely worthwhile.

I'm pretty much stuck on Mass Effect. I'm on Noveria, and I have to apparently kill Martiarch Benezia, who basically instantly pins and kills my teammates. I have to somehow kill her and the 3 of her asari commandos that basically bumrush me. Any suggestions?

pretty fun, but sometimes difficult, especially if you turn off aim assist. I'm about 3 hours in, and the game is so deep and amazing, that I wonder how they get it all on one disk. I mean there are so many worlds to explore and people to talk to. It boggles my mind.:roll:
