Since i'm workin with an 800$ budget and i want to get the most performance for value, Should i invest in the cpu and get the i5 2500k and get a weaker 6850 card... or should i spend the money more on the gpu and get a 560 Ti 1GB card with a i5 2400 cpu? Which would be the best for gaming?

In my opinion if you have an $800 budget I would invest in the CPU first to get started then upgrade later. (mid -highend range GPUs are only as good for games as the CPU and RAM is and cannot work best without it) You need a faster CPU and RAM in order for a more expensive GPU. But thats just what I think.

Gigabyte had released a super overclocked version of the gtx 560 which was clocked at 1000 MHz. But recently I saw they had a different version out that was another super overclockedone but is now at 950 MHz instead. Does anyone have any ideas why this is? was the 1 GHz version encountering problems or anything?

I say the number one reason why they did this is for 1 money(to cut down on costs) 2 which is really number one also, is that it may have been over stock of unsatisfactory 560 1GHz cards, that they may have disabled and down clocked them to 950MHz, to cut down on cost and have satistfactory speed and preformance? 3 Or it could have been to gennerate less power consumption and lower heat disapation? Which is usually the case

well i just wonder and i want to ask you guys if you experience freezes on any games, I got my ps3 for about 6 months now and it froze like twice already, I remember even my old consoles used to freeze once in a while like my ps1 ps2 and even the sega genesis. how bout you guys? do you think freezing is normal for every console? i just dont know the reasons why it does man but its very annoying :(

Freezing on any type of calculating device is not normal. And should be payed attention to. Freezing is common but not normal. Freezing is usually a result of multiple program executions(instruction command codes) that cannot execute causing a lock up error. Resulting in a system crash. If it keeps happening call sony tech support.

I've felt ripped off by the length of games lately period.

You might need to upgrade your video card, or try to get some upgraded drivers for the HD 5850 card. If not and if you can afford it. Upgrade your video card. You can try a crossfire connection as well.

In my opinion Call of Duty modern Warfare 2 is VERY overrated.
