Should I get Fallout 3 for PC or 360? I think my PC is a bit weak to play it better than my 360 (P4 3GHz, 2GB RAM and 8600GT.)comeonthehoops

pc always is superior to consoles now your rig is not much better or worse than the x360 version, its about the same so id suggest you get pc for the mods or x360 if you want to lie down in your bed or something and enjoy it as it is, without a feature add on upgrades or mods , so id say get it for x360 if you care only about the present and not the future! get pc to last for years!

Have people managed to open the data files yet, Once they can get something to read these suckers and extract the contents it's basically free-for-all modding (no need for a SDK really) Stalker is an example really.nutcrackr

Even easier on crysis i changed the ballistics and suit settings map making is very easy in fc2 even easier, the future of gaming will be mods!

If like me you picked up far cry 2 and were, lets just say, a little dissapointed with the main content of the game, in particular the main storyline and missions. But theres one thing I've taken from this game, and you have to admit, the game world is amazing. It's a beautiful place with some innovative features (the weapon degredation, the fire propogation etc.). I see MASSIVE modding potential for this game once the community gets off its feet.

I've been thinking in particular it would be a perfect game engine to use for a zombie survival mod, think about it. The spread out outposts. The crappy weapons that can jam and explode in your hands. The game structure is pretty much intact, the missions could be modified so you had to find supplies, or fuel, or suvivors or whatever. And the A.I. could be modified so humans are friendly and helpful to you. The use of fire would be perfect, low on ammo? just set a horde on fire. Not to mention that it's in Africa, a la resi 5. So to all pessimists who feel hard done by buying this game, just wait until the modding community get their heads together... and produce something better than the original game!

ALL games the last 1-2 years, ohh and about ai and crappy weapons i think its fine for a zombie mod, eg if you try a zombie mod in quake 3 engine or crysis or the star wars engine or ut 3 engine the zombies will move fast snd strafe unlikely in far cry 2 and cod 4 the animations are mor reallisitc what i think is that even gears of war and cod4 have editors if you look in the internet, but not many people mod, thats bad nowadays, in any case i think that we can make the firefights the combat the ai and can be improved just like people improve them in stalker and crysis, i did some changes too. YOU DONT LIKE A GAME CHANGE IT, CUSTUMIZE THE INI FILES! i love modding!

Bottom Line: Overrated game that is worth playing if you are a fan of KOTOR and Jade Empire as it's similar in spirit. I just wished I had bought it at a lower price. The story itself is worth it.

Its not very short. It can last at least 20 hours. Also where did the developers admit that portions of their own game were pointless? Do you have a link or anything?

22 Inch widescreen monitor.

I can either save up for the monitor and get it sooner, or get fallout 3 and then wait longer for the monitor. If it makes a difference, my current monitor is 15.6' 1280x1024 max.

It's a good game (but a bit overrated). It's a real RPG (unlike Oblivion), better than Oblivion. It's like Oblivion with guns and choices. The story is ok, but nothing special (F1 and F2 didn't have brilliant stories either). The "plot twist" is very cliche and predictable

9 while its better than oblivion and oblivion got higher is not overrated, also when fable 2 fans think it should get a 10.. its underatted!

oh come on dude , only because is not like the previous? please i am the biggest fallout 2 fan, i think best rpg ever but i got past that, eg is far cry 2, far cry at all? or the deus ex 1 and 2 that are from the same designers, do they really look the same? they are so diffirent, is SOF3 the same as the previous? come on just say i dont like bethesade elder of scrolls titles!

Ask me its good that someone with quality revived the game, eg SOF 3 ,ouch
