I know this might be a silly un-important question, but i was just thinking about getting this game for my pc instead of my 360...DOES THE WINDOWS VERSION GET ACHIEVEMENTS?ninjaw04

achievements are a disigrace in pc gaming

well the thread is about graphics is it? crysis is more technical but i think far cry looks better it has new stuff like burning the vegetation and the lighting is truly amazing, i also love the open worldmap driving and exploring, you use weapons only for combat i love that too i love that ai drives vehicles!

about the screenshots id say the graphics are a little better in warhead not much, for me at least! but i like far cry 2 graphics more!

the ai doesnt suck dude infact they ract more reallistic thant cryis, you know less strafing like unreal tournament bots also they drive in crysis they made scripted appeareances they never chase you with a vehicle!

about the nanosuit no thanks thats the point far cry 2 relies in guns lots of guns thats why i like it no nanosuit!

I dont understand why people rate is as average? propbly the same reason i rate stalker average, crysis warhead is an 8 for me, too short!

Im about an hour in and im definatly enjoying it so far! Much better then i expected! And 100times better then oblivion imo :P

Its not the fallout im use to, but its still got a great story, good atmosphere and the fallout humou. So so far im happy that it didnt turn out to be straight garbage like i was expecting!

agree , that guy is posting in every thread, what a boring guy. Lets hope they release the mod tools and someone makes this game better...so far I give it a 7.0 with mods that fixes the issues we all know it can be a 9.0 easily.

Unfortunately that IGN review was done by one of the Xbox editors, not one of the PC guys. So, I'm going to take the review with a grain of salt. Gooeykat

do they ever review games on pc anymore? i mean look at the reviews all in x360 expect if they are not available on x360, and he said he is a fallout fan!

Anyone else really hate the mash of shadows that're everywhere? The contrast on the shadows is far too high, and they're far to defined. It makes the ground look like a mess, and it's hard to appreciate the lovely textures. Has someone worked out where the config file is, that we can edit to blur and lower the contrast of shading? I tried turning the shadows off, but that looks worse.
