@probablyblinkin Wow. And how much would a PC that would run this smoothly, with great screen and full clarity cost? Also, how long until you would have to upgrade?
@Keaze_ I would have to say the 360 maybe; but not the PS3. Cage anyway develops exclusively for Sony. So, he meant the PS3 hasn't been milked dry. I mean look at how The Last of Us looks like so far. It just looks like the PS3 has a while to go, no? Thing is, I'm not a developer, engineer, animator, graphics designer or whatever else; but if he says the current PS3 is powerful enough, then they maybe it is?
@Keaze_ Also True. However, I just don't think Apple's (kind of) upgrades are always necessary. IMO, companies need to upgrade only when necessary. And I think that was Cage's point. He's saying the Playstation 3 hasn't been fully used to its limits. Let devs milk it dry, then create better hardware. Btw, agreed on the completely useless video applications on dashboards.
@fanaticsm "too tilted towards violence" and "games too focused on violence"...these statements really don't clarify anything for you? He never said "I do not have violence in my games." He said other games are TOO TILTED or TOO FOCUSED. Meaning, he's not saying don't have any violence just don't make it GEARED toward that. So, put like that...yes, a green or red apple becomes not only an orange...but a friggin fruits basket!
@Vodoo Thing is, he wasn't implying that Heavy Rain did everything a PS3 could do. If anything he's saying the PS3 hasn't been used to its fullest capabilities. That was his point. And Kara looks better than Heavy Rain; and he's saying not even that is the limit. So, in essence, you're agreeing with him.
