@abHS4L88 @iempire68 I'm assuming people in general buy consoles/games based on quality or taste and not affordability. Plus, you cannot compare the Wii U line up to the PS3/4 or XBOX lineup either. All have their own genre. To each gamer his own.
@silvergol @mikeyvp87 I have to agree. As much as I adore Sony as a company, I felt like the Vita thing was a bit of a cop-out. It's like, they didn't suggest any new games in the making, but just a platform where your existing games can be played. For people who already own a Vita, it feels like a bit of cheat...no?
@Saidrex @nurnberg Do you think that the way Sony (or any other global company for that matter) comes up with ideas and uses them overnight? Just in case you weren't aware...companies, when millions of dollars are involved...plan.
@Troutmagneto @therealsig @RSG003 See, the thing is, I don't think it will be possible for iPad or any other tablet to push consoles out of the picture. Have you played Bastion on the iPad? Amazing controls. Figuring out controls, is not going to do anything but make tablets less convenient. In my opinion, they're two different platforms that each have their own strengths.
Also, Apple not ripping people off every half a year? I'm assuming hell will freeze over by then?
@Ravenlore_basic @therealsig Sadly, they may not take it. They may be too stubborn to. And, I think, the Wii U is an example of Nintendo's stubbornness. I never thought the upgrade of Wii would involve the Wii at all. It feels like they're just doing the same thing in a different way.
@svaubel I think even if the Wii U doesn't do just fine and they completely write off the entire project (worst-case scenario, obviously) it still won't bring Nintendo down. That's quite a ridiculous expectation.
