@ivan_osorio We need more developers speaking their minds. What I find fascinating about David Cage is that his association with Sony doesn't restrict him from calling out his problems with the industry. Clearly he is denouncing shooters like Call of Duty, Battlefield, Resistance, or Killzone, games that sell PS3s. Despite this, he speaks his mind nonetheless. Too many developers are too constrains by their publishers to give an honest opinion about the industry. The fact that he does speaks courageously about himself and the fact that Sony has threatened to fire him yet is impressive.
@endorbr Why should he do it? He's had no experience making shooters and wouldn't be able to nail the mechanics in a way that developers for games like Call of Duty could. It's their responsibility to realize they are in a unique position to show the true sacrifice and terrors or war, and instead they just make it a repetitive and meaningless.
