@leeko_link Congratulations on finding one example! On behalf of the entire non-sarcastic internet community, I'd like to present to you an honorary non-existent cookie.

@Codester_41 I feel the same way about HD releases as I feel about Blu-Ray movie rereleases. HD releases let people who missed out on the game the first time around get it with superior visuals for a very cheap price. Most of these releases are handled by studios designed specifically for rereleases like BluePoint games, so big studios like Guerilla games can still focus on the next Killzone.

Was 1080p @60fps for a PS2 game too much to ask for?

@Nexrad And yet that is exactly that Medal of Honor is saying, that this is an authentic depiction of war. You're proving his point right. EA doesn't give two sh*ts about veterans. They wanted a CoD clone, and now they have one. "Authenticity" is their gimmick to lure people away, making them say "call of duty is so unrealistic!" when they're playing the exact same game. This is how EA gets their money, by ripping off others and pretending to be original.

I love the 11" form factor. So easy to carry everywhere.

$250 would be a good price. I wouldn't pick one up until a new Zelda or the new Retro project comes out though.

@RageSet @OshadowO You remember the Wii far differently than I do. Either that or you just have a lot of cynical or anti-Nintendo friends.

@Wild_Card

Assassin's Creed: Run, climb, stab, listen to something loosely related to history

Gears of War: Shoot, listen to gruffy dialogue, take cover and suck your thumb while your booboo's dissappear

God of War: Kill things very angrily, quickly press random buttons until they break

Halo: Shoot, drive, shoot, listen to your virtual girlfriend complain

New Super Mario Bros: Jump, get coi--oh wait this is NSMBs, jump, get coins with friends

Pokemon: Collect and battle pokemon that increasingly resemble inanimate objects while forever avoiding the underlying reality that this is animal abuse.

CoD: ...do I need to say anything about this?

Zelda obviously has a pattern, but so much of it is wildly different from the other from both an artistic and gameplay viewpoint. Whether it's Ocarina of Time's child/adult Link, Majora's Mask's 3-day system, Wind Wakers's sprawling seas, Twilight Princess's wolf link and twilight realm, or Skyward Sword's enormous skies, every iteration of Zelda is a major shift from the last. Some franchises like Battlefield, Resistance, and especially Final Fantasy make each game different from the past. Zelda, imo, does the best job.
