The third Runestone is located in that dark tunnel where Arakune lies at. Again, Litchi acts with overconfidence. When learning a lesson on the fears of the dark, King Jibral encourages Litchi not to be satisfied of fighting with Arakune. A deep, dark vortex leads to the cave where the third Runestone is found. But there's yet to be a sign of Arakune. It takes a fear's weak effort to avoid the fears of the dark. Now once the third Runestone is found, it's worse than the previous one. Another barrier, but it's invisible when it's not touched. Little did Zola know that the dark premonition turns into a way of life. But the solution is that Platinum retrieved that third Runestone. As they are headed back, there's a sign of Arakune, but he's not looking forward on fighting with Litchi this time, he's looking for the Azure Grimoire. Litchi was so lucky that Arakune had other plans waiting for the next fight. Good thing that she showed her true colors and played her cards right.

Continuing from the last episode, the two individuals Zola and King Jibral bail the defenders out of the prison so they can continue their search for the second Runestone. When danger calls to play their cards right, their quest would be finished. Believe it or not, they are guests of the gang. It's a fact that they are thrown the wrong way because the dungeon was a prison. Valkenhayn warps in to the defenders and have found them to. Just as Valkenhayn introduces to them, they are continuing for the second Runestone. Carl was worried or impressed that these two were guests. Once they got to the second Runestone, it's inside the barrier where they can't touch it. Zola tries to break the barrier and so does King Jibral, but it's still in. The others tried that too, but no dice. If it's not for Litchi who uses her staff to break the barrier, then they can't figure it out. It's Litchi who managed to figure it out to break that barrier. These barriers were going haywire most of time. As a result, Litchi and Zola explain the full concept of the quest to them and they are returning to base for the next Runestone. This is going to be a road trip for the next exciting episode yet!

Once the first Runestone has been found, the gang are headed back into their base to look for the whereabouts of the second Runestone. They discovered that the second one is in the top part of the city. Little did the defenders know that the second one isn't as easy as the first one, but they have no other choice but to go ahead. It seems their quest turns out for show, but they are overthrown into the dungeon after they barely touched that Runestone. This could be the end of their quest or they may recover from the overthrown life. But suddenly, the two strange individuals have came to bail the defenders out. Who could they be? The next episode will reveal who.

The Defenders of Kagutsuchi are headed to their base to know where's the first Runestone. The monitor in the base indicates that the first Runestone is located west of Kagutsuchi, which they are headed for the first Runestone. When they play their cards right, they'll find that first Runestone. Suddenly, the Tarkatan army has returned to put an attack to Kagutsuchi Incorporated. Once the situation took a turn for the better, the first Runestone has been found. The first part of the quest has completed. That must be an easy one. Other Runestones aren't as easy to retrieve like the first one, so they need to keep in mind.

Kagutsuchi Inc. has came to put the power chips to make Lorelei back to his charming self. Lorelei gives the crew some thanks for returning him to his former self. But the adventure's not over yet. Lorelei has a new era and a mission for them. The gang must look around the city and find the magical rocks with a letter that are called Runestones. They are the magic stones that can enhance Lorelei up. Where is the first Runestone? The next episode will reveal where.

Continuing from the previous episode, the team soon discovered a rift by the Military Academy, a school where Noel and Jin usually learn at. It's in the city that's shaped like a mountain that's called 15th Hierarchical City of Torifune. Once in the school, Noel goes out to meet her friends or classmates Tsubaki Yayoi and Makoto Nanaya, who unexpectedly return to the school. They were best friends for a long time ago. Noel brings her classmates to the team to find the fourth power chip when the girls are conversating about Lorelei. The situation tooks a turn for the worse once her classmates were ordered to attack her. Noel's classmates were ordered to attack her by Oniro, a guest star from Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm who is as one of Hazama's minions. In order to snap Tsubaki and Makoto out of it, Noel must fight Oniro while the others looking for the power chip.

Kagutsuchi Inc. discovers a rift in the ancient burial ground in Orient Town. Litchi was worried because of the rift was at her home town. The crew are going into the rift to find the 3rd power chip. The unusual version of Orient Town is creepier than the others. The others are learning through Litchi's belief once the case is closed. Suddenly, two people was found. It's the one with the giant body and one with the long tail. Their names are Iron Tager and Professor Kokonoe. They are looking around through Orient Town for a full-scale research. Litchi and Kokonoe are having a small talk about Lorelei while the others including Tager doing the honors of finding that third power chip. They aren't here for some takeout, they're here to close this case. Now since the mystery has been solved, the others are reporting to Litchi and Kokonoe.

The first power chip of Lorelei has been found in the previous episode. Valkenhayn informed them to come to the manor because there's a rift. Here on the manor, the monitor says a rift in Kaka Village was found. Taokaka was impressed that the rift is in her home. That's where the next power chip of Lorelei will be found here. As a matter of fact, Noel was once bitten, twice shy about the rift that may be in the NOL next. Kagutsuchi Inc. got inside the portal to the unusual version of Kaka Village. This place was found in Taokaka's belief. Nowadays, the Library was found by efficient means of the Kaka Clan. Once there, they have to found the next power chip without being bitten once and shy twice.

Kagutsuchi Incorporated came across the unusual version of the Librarium. All that energy is making Carl feel funny, so he puts on an iron mask to make sure he's not getting sick. Platinum uses a wand to open the door to the Haunted Librarium. There's a creepy, squiggly looking creature roaming in the Haunted Library. Arakune lurks around the Library. Arakune, the squiggly creature is looking forward on fighting with Litchi for a "rivalry" match. Litchi and Arakune are having a battle while the others are looking for the power chip of Lorelei. Power chips are the important things to power up Lorelei. Carl in an iron mask found the power chip for the others. Once the first power chip is found, they're reporting this to Litchi as a mission completion.

It's time for a new mission to get started. Kagutsuchi Incorporated is getting it in gear for the big adventure for the season. The dangers are lurking up ahead. If it's not for the Tarkatan army, then something else would came. Platinum was so stoked to be a part of Kagutsuchi Incorporated: Defenders of Kagutsuchi. It was a nothing for Noel's belief, but however, it's an all for the new order of Lorelei. There's a rip in the ancient burial ground by the Library that leads to an unusual version of the Library. Valkenhayn warps and informs them that the Tarkatan army or someone else may be there. Here, Carl must understand the ridicule and the importance of Lorelei.
