Defenders of Kagutsuchi are in the Temple of Fire to search for the Fire Core. Valkenhayn warns them that the road splits in two. So he ordered them to split into 2 teams. The left road taken by Jin, Carl, and Taokaka while the right road is taken by Noel, Litchi, and Bang. The left road goes first for them to clear the right road's path by finding the switch. The people of the left road found the hidden switch that was hidden in the ground and it's found by Taokaka. On to the right path, the part of the path is cleared. The others found a switch that they can't reach. The solution is that Litchi uses her weapon to reach it. The gate on the left road is open. Back to the left road, the gate is open by the switch by the entrance to the Fire Core. The defenders' tangled webs solve the problem with one simple puzzle.

It's a beautiful place here on Kagutsuchi. The place that is called Kaka Village. It's a place where the Kakas live here. A soldier of the Kaka clan named Taokaka. There's was a letter that was sent to Taokaka. She reads the letter. It said "Dear Taokaka, Thank you for reading the letter. I want you to become a defender of Kagutsuchi with the others. Thank you." The letter was sent by Torakaka, an owner of the clan. Taokaka is vowed to become a defender of Kagutsuchi. Now back with the defenders, Their next journey leads to the Temple of Fire. The defenders found a new companion from the Kaka clan. The defenders are going to let Taokaka join the Kagutsuchi Defenders. Six defenders and one instructor are moving on to find the Fire Core.

Now since the Defenders of Kagutsuchi are going to continue the quest, their next destination is the Darkness Temple or the Temple of Darkness. The gang is a full, but they need is an instructor for their quest. Once inside the temple, Ragna the Bloodedge, the undead warrior lurks in the temple. Jin fights Ragna alone for a brother vs. brother battle. A big collision has grown big by the tomb of the temple. Suddenly, a strange person have appeared to join the defenders. He was a butler of the Alucard famiy. He was called Valkenhayn R. Hellsing. Valkenhayn is going to be an instructor of the Defenders of Kagutsuchi. Now since they have an instructor, now it's time for them to get to the Darkness Core.

Despite the characters' touch of Mortal Kombat characters, Jin Kisaragi has a touch of Sub-Zero, Noel Vermillion has a touch of Sonya Blade, Bang Shishigami has a touch of Jax, Litchi Faye-Ling has a touch of Kitana, Carl Clover don't have any touch, Valkenhayn R. Hellsing has a touch of Nightwolf and Ragna the Bloodedge has a touch of Scorpion. Two games are the best for a reason.

Now once they found the core, the Tarkatan Army has came to stop the defenders from getting the Wind Core. Carl is using music abilities to put the Tarkatans to sleep to get the core and get out of here before they wake up. Just as the situation tooks a turn, Noel is injured when getting out of here. Suddenly, the Tarkatan army has woken up. Noel can't fight in her condition and the army is surrounding the defenders and this could be the end of their quest already. But suddenly, a voice heard and a giant stick stops the Tarkatan Army. They are saved by Bang and Litchi. They're joining the others in the nick of time. Once they got out of here, Litchi is examining Noel's condition before continuing the quest. The Tarkatan Army is no more. Now the five defenders are continuing the quest.

This episode had some guest stars, which is the Tarkatan Army. Despite the graphic nature of this episode, it can have some guest stars.

The quest has begun. The defenders are beginning their big quest for the Ars Magus cores. The first temple is the Temple of Wind. It's where the Wind Core was in the temple. Jin tries to warn the others that this was the most dangerous task. Following Jin's instructions, the crew found a secret passage that leads to the hallway. Carl using Ada as a Core Radar so it would be a cinch to find the core. Back in the meeting room, the people are researching on the defenders who are looking for the Wind Core. Here, the people are sending the Tarkatan army to attack the defenders. Once in the room where the Core is found, the Tarkatan army has come.

The other defenders are going out on an adventure outside of Kagutsuchi. It's a big adventure for the defenders. The situation took a turn for the worse when the army of anti defenders came to attack the defenders. The defenders are going to attack the anti defenders. However, they are too many of them and they can't attack any longer. From this point, the anti defenders have won. That is, until someone intervened. There's a calvary on the outside world. His name is Carl Clover, a famous Nox Nyctores user with music abilities. Carl earns his chance as a defender of Kagutsuchi. Carl has a robot with him, they called it Nirvana, but for Carl, he called it Ada. The defenders and Carl are in the temple for the quest to find the first Ars Magus core.

Litchi vows to become a defender of Kagutsuchi along with the others including Bang. She realized that she would become one. A manipulative story has come to a familiar blue on the others. Here in the meeting room, Hakumen and the others discussed about the defenders of Kagutsuchi. Hakumen informed that the BlazBlue was a sacred power that's made by the spirits upon. Back in Orient Town, Litchi and her assistant named Linhua talked about becoming a defender of Kagutsuchi, making amends and having a big journey. Despite the fact that her reputation of becoming a defender, one counts as a compliment.

Bang wanders around Kagutsuchi looking for a pride. He found a Chinese-looking area that's called the 19th District of Orient Town or District 19 of Orient Town. Bang and his assistants went inside the clinic, but he's not sick. So the clinic is not only for people who gotten sick. It's also for people who got injured, so his assistants found a giant wooden hammer. The soldiers of Kagutsuchi are looking out for a troubled situation and have discussed in the Tibetan Mountains in Orient Town in search of a portal that leads to the Closed World. Continuing with the clinic part, Bang ended up in the office of the clinic and a woman is working there. Her name is Litchi Faye-Ling, the woman of Orient Town as a clinic worker and can examine Bang on what's wrong with him. She discovered that he had food poisoning, which is deadly. Bang may be sick, but he's still a defender of Kagutsuchi.

Once the battle with Ragna and Noel ends, a boy has appeared out of nowhere looking for her. His name was Jin Kisaragi, the mayor of the NOL whose mission to take down Noel. Right after the battle with Jin and Noel ends, Jin is making amends of becoming a defender of Kagutsuchi. Jin and Noel go out to find out the plan of the talented Black Beast, a sacred creature that can use as many Ars Magus using it to suck up the seithr. There was a strange person with assistants here in Ronin Gai in Ikaruga. His name was Bang Shishigami and he got his 3 assistants. Bang told his assistants about becoming a defender of Kagutsuchi and making amends. His assistants hired Bang as a defender of Kagutsuchi and he's ready to go.

A strange energy lurks in the Sacred Forest that's called seithr that leads to Hakumen, Ragna won the battle against him because Hakumen found seithr that leads to the forest. A police woman of the NOL Named Noel Vermillion with a loss of a compliment of the search of Ragna the Bloodedge. Once Ragna won the battle, he managed to close the portal to the Closed World. Back in the main part of Kagutsuchi, Ragna found Noel and she's arresting Ragna for an abuse to the NOL making Noel as a defender of Kagutsuchi, including the Novus Orbus Librarium.
