Now since Lorelei has been bailed out, the Defenders of Kagutsuchi are headed home for a ceremony. Here in the Kagutsuchi Awards Ceremony, the defenders have a new name. The Defenders of Kagutsuchi are also known as Kagutsuchi Incorporated. Kagutsuchi Incorporated is a catchy name for the defenders and having a check of a reward. Kagutsuchi Incorporated is headed to the Kagutsuchi Manor for a new mission of this season.

After the Eternal Bonds continue after the trapping of Lorelei failed, the next season begins. Valkenhayn now assembles 7 defenders in the second season. It's a giant group of the defenders. In this season, the Defenders of Kagutsuchi now include: Jin Kisaragi, Noel Vermillion, Bang Shishigami, Litchi Faye-Ling, Carl Clover, Taokaka, and Platinum the Trinity. A big gang's all here in the second season that begins in Episode 21: Kagutsuchi Incorporated (Kagutsuchi Inc.). Here, the defenders are knowing the secret of Lorelei and have to harness the secret of Lorelei.

The Defenders of Kagutsuchi are preparing for the final battle with Hazama on the anniversary of the unfortunate death of Mu 12, one of Hazama's cybernetic machines. They anxiously await for the big finale, but Carl shows more apprehension because a victory would mean that Litchi would have to face some Eternal Bonds before the final battle. Litchi brokers an agreement with one of Hazama's warriors, but she doesn't know that his warriors would think that Hazama was Terumi after all. The final battle would take place in Adventus, a top part of Kagutsuchi where Hazama traps a spirit named Lorelei and the Defenders have a task to free Lorelei and the people of Kagutsuchi will be in their enhanced selves. But Litchi realized that Platinum is the new member of the gang. The Tarkatan army and the ninja army are a part of the bonds of Lorelei. Valkenhayn finds out that Lorelei was made of a pure magic called Amaterasu, a hidden power that Hazama controls. The mission to trap Lorelei may have been foiled by the defenders, but the Eternal Bonds continue. The next season will find out what happens next.

Bang is tired of the sensitive battles and elects to quit the team, retiring to his deceased assistants' isolated cabin. There, he makes acquaintance of a girl named Platinum the Trinity, who is secretly working as one of Hazama's agents. She tries to find out the location the Kagutsuchi warriors' base. Bang then finds himself captured by one of Hazama's forces and is imprisoned in the Kagutsuchi Prison, where he was put for torture. His comrades are here to rescue him, but are outnumbered by Hazama's troops. It seems that their destruction is inevitable, but at this moment, Platinum decides to help the defenders and get them out of here. Bang realizes that a peaceful life is impossible while the city is exposed to another place, and returning to the squad. Platinum the Trinity joins the crew.

Hazama, a.k.a. Terumi comes upon the core of Ouroboros, a magic core that with which he's able to unleash the Great Devourer. Using it, the Great Devourer will destroy all the people of Kagutsuchi and turn it into a grey, toasted city. The city is now out of defense and it will be conquered by the Great Devourer, if not for Valkenhayn, who escapes the core's influence. It is Valkenhayn who destroys the Great Devourer and ruins Terumi's black magic.

This episode is marked on Hazama was Terumi. Hazama has a touch of Quan Chi.

Periwinkle informed them that the Temple of Lightning is now open for their important and urgent mission. It's time to get the little deal back. The defenders are in the Temple of Lightning in search of the Lightning Core. When they play their cards right, it's possible to look and open the real lightning portal. Bang, Noel, and Litchi suddenly found a reflection of theirselves and have to defeat their reflected selves to get to the Lightning Core. That's the double trouble of half of the defenders. Once the reflections are over, the mirrors are now lost after Litchi throws the mirrors and break them to solve the problem. Now once the Lightning Core is retrieved, they have to find the last one that don't involve any elements.

Due to Periwinkle's information of the Temple of Lightning's temporary disorder, the defenders are headed to the Temple of Earth to search of the Earth Core. Valkenhayn informed them that the Temple of Earth have a built in avalanche and he told them not to make a loud noise. Bats are lurking in the temple and the mine cart was found. The defenders are trying the mine cart as a quickest way to the entrance to the room of the Earth Core. The door has a built in puzzle where the defenders crack the code. The defenders are searching around the temple for clues. The first clue to the puzzle is a 7. Second clue is a 4, and the third and final clue is a 9. The answer to the code is a 749. The door opens and the code is cracked. Wind, Darkness, Fire, Water, and Earth are in their possession. All that's left is the Lightning Core. However, the 7th and the final one is not one of the elements.

The citizens are having a Kagutsuchi Masquerade to support and hope for the Defenders of Kagutsuchi to come back unscathed. It was also known as the Defenders of Kagutsuchi Support parade. They have balloons of the defenders for an ultra celebration. On to the defenders, their next part of their quest is to look for the Temple of Lightning. There's a person by the entrance to the Temple of Lightning. Periwinkle from Sonic Underground informed them that the Temple of Lightning is temporarily out of order until further notice. In the city, the Kagutsuchi Masquerade Parade continues. Bang's assistants are celebrating for their boss Bang, Linhua is rooting for Litchi, and the others are celebrating.

A guest star from Sonic Underground, Periwinkle is first seen on Episode 15.

After Litchi managed to make Carl and Ada healthy in the last episode, the Defenders of Kagutsuchi are going to continue their quest. Their next destination is the Temple of Water where the Water Core is born there. Little did the defenders know that this is going to be an easiest task, courtesy of Valkenhayn. Once inside the Water Temple, Valkenhayn tries to inform them that the room of the core is open by solving the puzzle. The puzzle is to find the answer to the riddle into the deep. In order to solve the riddle, they need to find the clues to find the answer to the riddle: What is the most important thing during your quest? The defenders are searching the clues. One found by the door and one found in the beginning of the temple. They believe that the answer to the riddle is to do some teamwork and the answer to the riddle is correct and the door opens. The Water core has been found. The cores that are in the defenders' possession are Wind, Darkness, Fire, and Water. What next element has in store for the defenders?

After a countless quest for the Fire Core and the battle with the Tarkatan army, Carl and Ada are getting injured. As a result, Litchi acts with overconfidence. She decides to examine Carl because he's seriously wounded and had to temporarily quit the team until Litchi finishes making Carl and Ada healthy. After being ordered to take Carl and Ada to the infirmary, they are being ambushed by a herd or a detachment of ninja warriors. Learning a lesson on teamwork while battling the ninja warriors. After getting to the infirmary, Litchi have succeeded in making Carl and Ada healthy and they are being reinstated as a Defender of Kagutsuchi.
