[QUOTE="threepac81"]Go into your BIOS and look at the "Boot Order" make sure the CD-ROM Drive is set to boot first. If that does not work see if your HDD is properly set to slave with the jumpers. If that does not work get SATA and call it a day...canucks12792
will it work if i get windows cd ?
You need to make sure the CD-ROM drive in the Boot order (or at least before any of the HDDs). The Windows CD should be bootable but if the CD-ROM isn't first it still wont boot.[QUOTE="threepac81"][QUOTE="Dahaka-UK"] I am the administrater of this computer, I'm the only person who uses this computer. I have my user name set to admin. Dahaka-UKStill...permissions/rights are funny like that. Go into the properties of the HDD > Security tab give yourself Full Control. Under Advance > Owner tab make yourself the owner. Is there no way of doing this in XP? There doesn't seem to be a security tab upon going into the properties of the Local Disk C: drive in my computers. Do you have XP Home installed?

While I was on vista anything that I would open up on the new hard drive was read only. Hi,
Im looking to get quality suround sound for gaming and occasional movies.
Questions on Z-5500 speakers
1. Is this the best to get right now? The reviews that I read are good but these speakers are not new. The reviews date back from 2005-2006.
2. These speakers decoders do not offer Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital II or DTS-HD. Is that a big problem?
3. What about wireless for the back speakers, worth getting or not?
Thanks alot for the answers...

1. Yea these speakers are still the best and yes they are old. Logitech is still manufacturing them...
2. For these more recent audio codecs your going to have to go with a much newer "serious" recievers. Ala: harman/kardon AVR 354& Yamaha HTR-6160BL
3 . I don't know what you mean by Wireless back speakers.
