MONSTER TRUCKS!!! (pics)

My friends wanted to do something to cheer me up after getting back from my grandmas funeral, so when I flew in on thursday night they told me that they had monster truck tickets.  I went and had a blast!  Here are some pics for you guys!

I AM BACK! (w/pics)

I had a good visit with the family.  The funeral was nice.  Thanks to everyone here for being so supportive during this difficult time.  I was in southern Oklahoma and I have a pic of something that I did not think I would see till much later in the year.......

Yes, those are both 60gb PS3's.  Of course they were out of Wii's.  This was at the Wal-Mart in Wichita Falls, TX.  So I guess Sonys getting them on the shelves, but what about the consumer actually buying them?

Well, I am getting back to work, I will see you at the Xbox Live Gamers Union!

My New Years is not off to a good start.

Hey guys.  I am afraid to say that my new year has started on a low note.  I recieved a call from my mother telling me that my grandmother is dying.  So I might not be on for a while.  Sorry guys.

Also, my OU Sooners were beat by Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl.  My office water heater busted, and it is in the ceiling so there was water coming out of the light sockets.

Now I just got a call from my wife letting me know that the power is out at my house.

And I have to go back to school tonight so I won't get home 'till around ten o'clock.

This sucks......

Sony is not off to a good start......

I have a friend who is spoiled by his wife.  She went on eBay and bought him a PS3 for Christmas.  She spent like 1,300.00! Yeah its dumb.  So I went over to his house last night and we played Resistance: Fall of Man.  I don't see what all the hype is about... Yeah, its fun and all, but for the price I would rather play Gears of War or something.  Then we tried the Sony online and was rather bummed because of how long it takes to download something.  We played the Gran Tourismo HD, not so great also.  We had the most fun with Need for Speed Carbon, which looks EXACTLY like the 360 one.  Man, for 600 bucks plus the costs of games being 10 bucks more than the 360, Sony better shape it up or they might not survive.

Well, another year in the books.

Well, Christmas has come and gone.  Another year is just about complete.  I hope that all of you had a great Christmas.  Mine was good.  I traveled with the wife and in laws to Eastern Washington where it snowed for the whole 4 days I was there.  Some good snowboarding. I just hate the week between Christmas and New Years, mostly because I have to work, BOOOOO!

This year seemed to go by extremely fast.  It seems like only yesterday that I was patiently waiting the release of the 360!

Oh well, I can't wait to see what Microsoft has up there sleeves for 2007.  Especially the release of GTA IV, Assasins Creed, Halo 3, Crackdown etc.....  Already looking like a good year for Xbox!

As for Christmas gifts, I got an electric shaver that cleans itself,  about $200 worth of gift cards, some socks, and a scarf.  I also got the HD-DVD player for the 360.  The picture is awesome!  The only thing that sucks is watching a HD movie, then turning on the Satellite and watching a movie on the regular-def and seeing how crappy it is, then realizing that 90% of all the channels I have are like that........kind of a let down.

Do any of you ever make New Years Resolutions?  I do and actually held mine up this year!  Yay!  My '06 resolution was to go back to school, which I am doing right now.   I think my '07 resolution will be to get back in shape, well any shape other than a circle, which I am now!

I would also like to win at least ONE gaming tournament in 2007.

Just to let you know I watched the movie "The Wicker Man" and IMO it was crap.  Don't waste your money.  I did watch a movie called "Goal" and thought it was great.

I recently told you guys that I replaced my PSP.  Yeah, well I got the Metal Gear Portable Ops and I suck at it!  I am not good at sneaking around.  So I have been mainly playing GTA: Vice City Stories.  Its a fun, and HUGE, game!  There is tons of stuff to do in this one, yet it doesn't feel as repetitive as the last one for the PSP.  I also got an ATV game with it for free, and I HATE IT!  It's so damn frustrating! The 4 wheeler steers like its on ice or something, yet I touch anything (wall, curb, etc..) with it and my rider goes flying, even at low speeds!

I can see why they are giving it away....

I have not been online for a week because there isn't high speed internet in Chelan, where I was for Christmas, so I don't even take the 360.  Plus I was out either sno-mobiling or snowboarding so I don't play many games.  Anyways, I will be online tonight.  I will see you guys there!

I got another PSP

I was sitting in my office today and thought that it was time to replace my PSP.  About one year ago there was a bad accident and my PSP was destroyed.  Yes I still remember that night, I woke up cause Mother Nature, that btch, just HAD to call me.  I accidently stepped on it, shattering the screen.

I cried that night.......

and cried.....

like a baby.

I finally decided to move on and replace it today.  So I went to Gamestop, the best game store in the world, and picked up...

One Playstation Portable bundle with game and movie

Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops

And.....

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories

The grand total cane to: $437.48

(thats also adding the Gamestop one year warranty)

Its my Christmas gift, to myself.

Merry Christmas Sean, Merry Christmas......
