TBH... it's not like it matters much. If you're stupid enough to buy the next version of "Call of Madden" then you're pretty much the bottom of the gaming gene pool anyway and why should anyone care what you think in the first place.
Battlefield 4 will get a 6 then.... because you shot people with guns in 1942, BFV, BF2, BF3... and the game hasn't grown into a game where a bunch of women sit around drinking tea and discussing politically correct topics and how to "empower" themselves.
Oh man the army base... i did almost exactly the same thing. Coordinated 8 ppl into an assault that went horribly wrong when we discovered the gate was made of impervium.
Learned it's easier to just go in solo, fly a helo into the hangar to steal the jet.
so if a Liverpool fan wanted to knock a point off the next FIFA review because he disagree's with Liverpool's ranking in the next game that'd be okay?
If a Brit decided to knock a point off the next Grand Turismo because the Aston Martin Vanquish isn't fast enough in his opinion that'd be okay?
Point of view relates to the game's QUALITY... not her personal politics. In truth her editor (if GS has one, which is questionable) should have reprimanded her and had her rewrite the review.
There's alway My Little Pony Online for the weenie hand wringers, you know what you're buying... don't blame anyone else for you pulling out your wallet.
@GrahamZ @timoteo2k1 So... feminist politics aren't politics? just because you don't know the difference between a political party or an interest group don't make assumptions for the rest of us.
Opinion is fine, opinion OF THE GAME'S QUALITY, not her opinion on how it offended her personal politics. If I wanted that opinion i'd go to MSNBC/ FOX.
People come here for a review on the game's quality, not reviews of the reviewers personal politics.
The game equally attacked entitled white males, stereotyped hispanics, homosexuals, blacks, the rich, the poor... in fact it pretty much equally offended everyone.
If you ask me the worst portrayals in the game were of southerners/ country people. Which were portrayed as all violent, ignorant drug addicted savages.
She only SAW the portrayal of women because she was playing for a team, playing for her politics instead of just doing the job.
we didn't agree with a review of a game done from a feminist point of view, a game looked at from the pov of a women's concern for "team woman" instead of a gaming professional- and the people revolted pointing out she wasn't doing her job.
...and as such, because she's a fictionally "oppressed female" the rest of us have a problem, not the one who didn't do her job.
She inserted her personal politics, she made the discussion about her, GS is looking in the wrong place for answers.
