@BIG_BOSS_927: Elseworlds is a DC comic title that has been around since the '90s, but they've dabbled in alternate "what if?" stories since the '40s.
Marvel isn't being original with the multiverse angle. They were just bold enough to try it in movies and clever enough to make it work. It has been far more successful than they ever imagined.
I hope that Kofi doesn't ship the bed again and eliminate himself with a misstep. I also hope that the production crew is a little more careful about when they play the recorded "this is awesome" chant so that it fits with what's happening in the ring.
Maverick was one of the most predictable "contains recycled material" movies that I have ever seen. I'm glad that it did well in theaters but best picture? Come on.
Then again, the overwhelming 2022 game of the year had a weaker story than most vaporware and some of the worst dialogue in the history of the spoken word.
@Barighm: Yes, you can play the game solo as much as you want. You might not be able to do dungeons that way but it makes it a lot of fun to explore and play at your own pace. The graphics in some of the areas are so amazing, you can't help but look at the scenery. Like a lot of MMOs, you can come across world bosses and help other players take them down without formally grouping up. My favorite thing about the game is that the world changes as you complete quest lines, so you feel like you're making a difference (e.g., you save a town from invaders and the town actually becomes "safe" for the NPCs there).
Please let this be good. I hope that this site publishes an objective review of the actual gameplay before this releases. Mechanics, graphics, replay value, and included content. You know...the way that video game reviews used to be.
It would be more impressive if she didn't reach for an excuse to whine about her successful career. But I guess that's what you've got to do to appeal to young audiences these days.
@shadow6323: Gamespot has earned a reputation because of this. There's a belief that they require their reviewers to adopt a heavily biased approach in order to appear edgy and spark controversial discussions, even though it causes them to lose all respect and credibility. They're the cable news equivalent of a video game website.
