Well if you're in the UK than yes you do get it, but those crabby Brits are keeping it all to themselves. Jerks, I really like BBC programing.

& yes you can use a keyboard to type in AC:CF, it just needs to be plugged in when the wii is powered on. The wii accepts usb keyboards includng wireless usb, which might be nice for sitting on the couch and typing.

I'll try to address some of your questions, I myself haven't heard anything about a HDMI wii, I do know that there are third party sellers that have a HDMI cable for the wii, but you will see no real visual difference between the two, so with your setup I'd just stick with componenet cables. The Wii Speak accessory is only used in online play as far as I know, no single player application for it. Wikipedia lists all the games compatable with it. Yes you can use your credit card to buy Wiiware/VC games, you can also link your account with your Club Nintendo account to get points/coints/stars whatever point system they use in the EU. THe wiiware/vc titles are unfortunately region specific. The Freeloader used an old hole in the Wii's system menu that has since been patched, so it no longer works. There are other ways to play other region's games, but I can't really talk about that here, forum limitations you know. As a rule there is no downloadable content for main releases, though some wiiware games I have played do have extra downloadable content.

Well if you really like accessories than yes, there arequite afew out there. If you have friends who have a wii you could get the wii speak accessory, used on some online games, if you go this route be sure to get a new one, thanks to Nintendo you can oly download the wii speak channel once, though you don't really need the channel for gameplay so it's up to you. There is some lag in the communication but I still like it.

I have one of these replacement stands, I think it just looks cool, and it has an extra cooling fan.

Hori just came out with a new stand in this veign that would look wicked with the new black wii, no cooling fan though.

A company also appears to be releasing an adapter for multiple ****c consoles on the wii, it's a NES, SNES, N64, and Sega Genesis adapter to wii. Pretty cool for VC games.

If you want to get really wild you can replace the gate color from blue to red or or green, I believe also without voiding the warrenty. Red would look awesome on a black wii.

Yeah, you'll need an SD card if you want to put pics or virtual console games on your wii, it now supports SDHC up to 32 GB.

I would also recommend a wiimote rechargeable battery stand like this one:

I own this NYKO charger and it has worked well for me, with the motion + addon you would have to take that off every time. There are some new chargers that work by induction, and can use the stock battery covers instead of the slightly ugly replacement ones, and I believe they also work with the motion + still attached.

As a previous poster stated, ifc you have a 480P capable tv, component cables are a must if you want the best possible performance out of your wii.

As for the lan adapter you bought, if you have wifi in your house you don't need it, the wii has a wireless g adapeter built in it which is pleanty for the wii's online capabilies, or lack thereof, so you might be able to save some money depending on your setup.

Whatever you do though, stay away from this kind of junk:

I personally agree with IGN,s critique of no online play, I would have liked that myself an it does seem like a lapse of judgement for Nintendo. I think that the gamespot review knocking lack of classic controller to be absolutely rediculus. The game uses motion control, even with the extra buttons on the calssic controller I can't think of a way to seamlessly integrate those functions into the classic controller, maybe use the sholder buttons to act like rotation for those lighting levels, I don't know. I think it would be rather crude by comparrison, in that case gamespot probably would have said something like "while the classic conterller use was appreciated, it was not nearly as intuitive as the wii remote and was not really a good addition." Or if Nintendo decided to not include motion control so that the classic controller could be used they almost certainly would have knocked them for not using the most distinctive feature of their console on such a high profile game.

Well, you could get an external video capture card with realtime playback, this one claims to allow viedogame play on your laptop. For that $40 price, don't expect the best picture quality, the real good capture cards, like high-grade video editing, eaisly cost upwards of $80.

I'm wondering about this too. Hopefully this is not the case.

But, I was looking at some of the videos. Some of the big coins/ledges are soo high...that it looks impossible to reach (even with a propeller suit) if you don't have somebody else to give you a boost.

let's hope that looks are deceiving in this case;) it will be great fun playing with others on this game, but i like to complete games on my own before attempting a play through with friends.

I forgot where I read it, but I did read that Nintendo made sure that it is possible to get 100% Completion in single player, so you can put your worries aside.

Hmm, quoting yourself, can I get any more narcissistic? Anyway, here's that review I was mentioning. This review focused more on the single player, and midway through they state:

"Before we talk about that though, let's make one thing clear: NSMBW is absolutely brilliant in single-player. While trailers and on-stage demonstrations focused on the game's new multiplayer element, this is a single-player Mario game in exactly the same vein as its ****c predecessors, only with the option to slap three more players on the screen.

There's no necessity to ever play it with other people - you can still collect every coin and explore every area of the main quest without he help of others, and we were pleased to find that the level design didn't seem to be affected by the inclusion of a four-player option either."

my only question is this. will we need additional players to get every star. i'm the type of gmr that goes for every hidden treasure, and in this case, every hidden star. so will we need additional players to reach every star like the stickers inLBP? that was my biggest pet peeve in LBP that if you needed 2/3/4 players to reach an area, but you were playing alone, then you couldn't explore everything.

For my take on the review, I think the complaint for the classic controller is totally ludicrus. Now, I myself would have liked to use my Super Famicom classic controller that I got from Japan, but I knew that would be impossible, because the game makes use of the Wii's motion controls, as it should since it was released for this console. I also disagree with their statment that the graphics aren't as good as Maario Galaxy. I believe that they did infact "dumb-down" the graphics, not because they were lazy or didn't want to push the capabilites of the wii, but because they did want it to have more of that classic mario styleing and feel. So they complain that it is too nostalgic, graphics, and not nostalgic enough, controls, in the same review.

How much did it cost to import it I'm too waiting for this game

Cruse34

I got lucky on ebay and got it for $25 USD shipped. The only thing with this game is that the disc does not have NTSC video codeing on it, only PAL. So when you are using your freeloader, or whatever, you can't just force NTSC. To fix this you either need a TV that is capable of playing PAL, some new TV's do. There are also claims that you can force the video into PAL-60 on a TV capable of 480P, using component cables, and use some additional patching procedures to make it play, which I can't really go into on this forum.
